Nestled on the banks of the Little Red River, it offers a serene and tranquil setting that leaves the hustle and bustle of everyday life far behind. With its breathtaking views and luxurious accommodations, the Chateau is the perfect destination for a romantic getaway, family vacation, or corporate retreat. Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, the Chateau is the perfect destination for your next vacation. The Chateau is located on a large on the Little Red River just outside the city limits of Heber Springs, Arkansas. The Chateau's great room offers stunning views of the Little Red River, a large fireplace surrounded by custom cut stonework, vaulted ceilings, comfortable seating, cable and smart TV streaming options. The adjacent, open-space kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, including a double-oven, 6-burner gas cooktop, granite countertops, custom cabinetry, a wine cooler, an ice maker, two large islands with seating for eight guests, and a dining table that accommodates up to 10 more guests. Just off the great room, we have additional seating for six more guests on the screened-in porch. There is also a unique teak-root table in the great room that provides seating for 2 more guests. The master bedroom also offers expansive views of the Little Red River, a luxuriously appointed king size bed, a separate seating area (with cozy Italian leather furnishings) and a massive walk-in closet that features two cut crystal chandeliers. The master bedroom's luxurious en-suite bath includes double vanities, an over-sized jetted tub, a spacious walk-in shower, and a seated make-up station. The Chateau's second great room also has vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, another smart/streaming television and comfortable seating. Here you'll enjoy a second downstairs king bedroom (with smart/streaming tv), and a view of the Little Red River. The third main-floor bedroom features a queen bed with a smart/streaming television and a "peek" of the river. Two more bathrooms (one with a shower and the other with a tub/shower combination) are located in this living area. The upstairs bunk room includes a custom built king size bed and two hand-crafted single beds (all built by a local craftsman), as well as a sleeper sofa and an additional memory foam pull out bed. The Chateau's grounds are also luxurious. The grounds include beautiful landscaping, a koi pond, two fire pits, an expansive deck and a private dock with a boat house. Guests have access to our entire home. Our home will become your private retreat during your stay. We spend almost every weekend at Eden Isle just outside of Heber Springs, Arkansas. We enjoy meeting new people and are readily available if a need arises or if you'd simply like additional ideas for your stay. The Chateau is located in a private neighborhood just down river from the famed Cow Shoals. You can expect a quiet stay with easy access to Heber Springs, which is just minutes away by car. While the Little Red River offers incredible recreational options, guests must remember to take common sense safety precautions while spending time on or around the river. The spacious kitchen and large dining table were perfect for gathering our entire family — so many wonderful memories were made there.The dock quickly became a family favorite. My brother and niece practically had to be dragged away because they wanted to spend every second out there trying to catch those beautiful rainbow trout. The peaceful setting and stunning river views made it the perfect escape.This place was absolute heaven, and we enjoyed every single moment. Nice location , boat dock was very convenient. The house was clean and spacious. We did have an issue checking in. The doors were locked so we had to contact VRBO because we could not get in touch with the owners. It was an honest mistake but kind of a bummer after 10 hours of travel and groceries in the vehicle. Another suggestion would be for the closets to have some hangers for cloths. The closet was spacious but without hangers so we could not hang anything. A little more shampoo, paper towels, toilet paper would have also been nice. We were there for five nights so we had to go buy some more of these things. Not terrible but it would have been nice. The property was great and convenient for all of us so these minor things would not deter me from renting it again. ##### Daniel H. It was a very well equipped home with anything you might need in any way. Plenty of space in and out whether you wanted to be together or needed some quiet time for yourself. Our host’s communication was excellent and the house was in clean condition when we arrived. We loved the accessibility of the boat doc, which allowed us to get a lot of fishing in, although we probably been more successful if the dam was generating less. The house probably needs a couple of updates. The top oven is not working properly, the sink sprayer has no water pressure, and the TV in the living room is probably on it’s last leg (freezing up, controls not working correctly, etc.). ##### Nathan M. Last year was a 5-star review and this year’s stay is another 5-star stay. I guess that makes The Chateau a guaranteed 10! You cannot ask for nor expect a better place to stay while visiting the Central Arkansas area. Some details: easily found using the given directions or by plugging the address into your phones mapping app, tons of parking space for family and guests, huge spaces to get together or get away to relax, 2 awesome kitchens, upstairs area is great for kids or teens, wrap-around deck for enjoying the sights and sounds of the river, outdoor fire pits for those that love sitting by a campfire, and a boat dock that you can launch from or just fish and relax. Your kitchen space and equipment is beyond excellent. In our opinion it sleeps 10 comfortably in beds. The two pull out beds upstairs are only single beds and need replacing with something else.
