Looking for a quirky but cool getaway? This glamping-mobile is thoughtfully designed to offer you an instagram-worthy experience that you'll remember long after your trip to the Ozarks is over. What we provide- \~linens and towels \~cookware and servingware \~kitchen basics \~soap and shampoo \~starter kit of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and garbage bags \~the coffeemaker is a standard drip machine, filters provided \~the grill is propane, though there is also a charcoal grill for your use (byo charcoal) \~firewood, BYO kindling Rental Rules \~Check in is 4:00 PM-10PM / Check out is 11:00 AM -a fee will be charged for late checkout \~No Smoking in or near the Skoolie \~Dogs are allowed, with $40 Pet Fee \~No loud noise or parties \~Absolutely no UTV's, ATV’s, Trailers, or Camper Cancellation Policy 85% of paid prepayments refundable when cancelled 14 days before arrival or earlier. 50% of paid prepayments refundable when cancelled 7 days before arrival or earlier. 0% refundable if cancelled after. No date changes allowed within 7 days of arrival. Snuggle on the comfy full size memory foam bed with a good book or roast marshmallows in the fire pit after a full day exploring the local hiking trails. Skoolie offers all the "glamping" comforts- a full memory foam bed, pull-out couch, well-equipped kitchenette, and shower/toilet bathroom (like you'd find in a camper). Wifi, smart tv, bluetooth speaker, games, and firepit too! I am available by phone or text, as needed. Skoolie is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, conveniently located between town square and Blanchard Caverns. Other houses are visible from the bus. GPS will lead you astray. Please use the turn by turn directions provided at booking to reach the Skoolie. Rental Rules \~Primary guest must be age 25 or older \~Check in is 4:00 PM-10PM / Check out is 11:00 AM \~No Smoking in or near the Cabin \~Dogs are allowed, with Pet Fee \~No loud noise or parties \~Absolutely no UTV's, ATV’s, Trailers, or Campers allowed \~Number of guests cannot exceed the maximum occupancy as stated in the listing \~It should be noted that our properties are located in a rural and, in some cases, remote area of the Ozarks, where you will find many different forms of wildlife. Raccoons, deer, mice, snakes, eagles, wild hogs, black bear, skunks, and opossums are common, and may be a nuisance at certain times of the year. Other pests such as ants, wasps, mosquitos, spiders, bees, flies, and gnats also live nearby. Each property has a regular/quarterly pest control device, but we cannot guarantee against Guests seeing any animals or pests during their stay and no refunds will be made for this. Pet Rules: \*Please clean up after your dog. \*Please do not allow your dog to bark excessively or to roam onto neighboring properties. Many of our homes are located near residential neighborhoods, and we must respect the comfort and privacy of those residents. Complaints may lead to eviction without refund. \*Please do not allow dogs on furniture or beds. It is also helpful to bring something (bed, blanket, etc.) on which you know your pet will be comfortable sleeping. A crate is ideal for those situations in which you must leave. It was unique. It’s clean and very comfortable. Due to the small space, the toilet is situated in the shower itself. We knew this before we went so we all took a long shower before and after this trip. The bed is very comfortable. The fire pit is nice. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night and driving home bc a really bad smell was circulating from the very back of the bus. It didn’t seem to be coming from the toilet but we sensed it most coming from the heater. It rained the first night, but we just put on our rain coats and had a fire anyways. The wood was nice and seasoned. The skoolie was actually better than pictures! The second day and night we had a blast. Played baggo, played some games that were in the bus, and of course had Santa. Started the fire in the morning and had it all day and night. The neighbors are literally right next door on both sides. So just a little FYI. I think one actually lives there, but they have put a little fence up in between that one. The other one is another rental, but I think it was to cold for them to wonder around. So we were the only ones around. Just us and the pups. Definitely would go again!! ##### kori h. A quiet spot to be alone with fireflies. I sat out near the fire pit and just listened to the cicadas and watched the woods light up with fireflies. Really, that is what I was hoping for and the spot delivered. The interior of Skoolie is comfortable and cosy and cool even when it is blazing hot outside. The surrounding area is quite and sleeping was undisturbed. In the morning I was able to do a 2 mile walk along the loop road. Deer and fawns were out as where rabbits and squirrels. The kitchen is very well equipped. I didn’t cook anything beyond a microwave and toaster, but there are plenty of utensils, measuring cups, and pans for doing a bit of cooking. Refrigerator is small, but the little freezer kept my frozen foods frozen and I was able to freeze a water bottle in it overnight. I would caution anyone who is really tall that I did feel like I might be ramming my head into the ceiling at any moment and I am only 5 feet and some change. I think it is an optical illusion because the windows are lower than your shoulders, but my SO would have felt a bit cramped in this space. It was a fun and unique experience. The school bus was very clean and comfortable. It was cutely decorated. We enjoyed the quiet, rural location.
