« Great property in an area where if you are not with a cruise ship pre or post cruise tour the lodging options are limited. The place is as advertised, three comfortable bedrooms with King beds. Large Kitchen, Living, Dining area. Better than average view. Well equipped. A good supermarket and breakfast spot are 5 min away. We had dinner at a Brewery restaurant 5 minutes away and made the quick 15 minute drive to Denali Visitor Center for a day at the park. We also had a visit from the...

« The Gnome Home is a cute and quirky place to stay near Denali National Park with privacy and modern plumbing! The hosts are super responsive and the check in process was easy peasy. It features a king bed, large loft bed and extra twin (although that one does share space with the laundry room!) there’s a LAUNDRY ROOM!!! Perfect for a couple or family with a few kids. « This should be called “Moose House” as we had multiple visits from mama and her two calves. Large table for eating and playing cards. We reported that the dishwasher would not start at 8 pm and it was replaced with a brand new unit by 2 pm the next day. Great location for Denali visits as it was about 15 minutes from the park. The kitchen was well stocked and had extra items like spices and oil. Lots of cooking utensils/pans. Beautiful views from the dining room. Would stay again! »

« The property was so much more than we expected. The yard was big with so many games: tether ball, horseshoes, room to play catch. The trail heading from the house to the creek was fun. The deck made a wonderful coffee opportunity each morning. The kitchen had everything we needed for food prep and serving meals. We were even greeted by a moose along the road as we arrived. »

« Great experience. Not far from the park. Plenty of room for 2 couples. The house got a little warm, but there were fans that helped. We cracked the windows which helped but a little stuffy. Overall everything was great. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well appointed »

« landscaping and presentation very nice; cabin clean; no conveniences = community fridge, no coffee maker, no glasses or even paper cups, further out than expected, uneven cabin floor awkward, no furniture worth relaxing in - sofa unusable, cabin in Talkeetna was a 10 - this one a 6, and the price was 100 more = value a 2, owners let envelope recommending a $20 tip = room was clean = pay housekeeping more - at this price you should be able to do so. DON'T try and tell me what to tip. »
