« Cypress Cottage was extremely well appointed/decorated with all the amenities necessary for a couple to stay at. The owner was gracious in letting us check-in early so we could drop our luggage off and get groceries and supplies for our 4day Memorial Weekend. My wife and I wanted just wanted to getaway as well as explore family history on my wife's side as her mother's lineage settled in Ivanhoe , NC in 1767. We saw historical family homes, grave yard and churches. It was just awesome! »

« My husband and I always try and get away to celebrate our birthdays that are in May. This year we chose to do a river fishing trip and Eco cabin was the perfect spot for us. We loved the feel of the 2 units. The deck and dock were perfect for relaxing and doing some fishing. The location was perfect. We went hours without seeing anyone else. We will definitely be returning and bringing our two boys with us next time. »

« This is me and my hubby’s and our two dogs new favorite spot to vacation at for 2024. It’s clean and well equipped… felt like home… it’s was a lot of space for us but much needed space and peace for us all! Next time I’d love to enjoy all the lake house has to offer including the bunk house and invite family! I’d come out here once a month over the course of the year just for the clarity of nature. My new home away from home! »

« THE COTTAGE WAS VERY CLEAN AND WELL DECORATED. WE LOVED SITTING IN THE SUNROOM AND WALKING A SHORT DISTANCE TO THE PIER. THE COTTAGE WAS WELL SUPPLIED. I WOULD RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE. IT WAS GREAT. »

« Everything was amazing. Only thing I would suggest is having garbage cans at the house as a convenience to the guest and extra towel racks in the bathrooms for towels and bathing suits to be hung on. »

« We all loved it! This is a beautiful place and it is so spacious - we all had our privacy. Jeremiah was very helpful with the check-in, etc. he contacted me immediately when I had a question. The kitchen was great, with everything anyone would need, even an air fryer and crock pot. The beds were amazingly comfortable. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for a wonderful time! »

« Booked this cottage for a two night weekend stay to attend a family reunion. The house was very clean and well appointed. Lots of extras! We all enjoyed the large screened porch for coffee in the morning and relaxing with a beverage in the late afternoon. Wish our stay could have been longer! »

« Property was beautiful and loved it being right on the water. The only draw back or issue was that the water smelled like sulfur . I’m not sure what causes it but it was worse in the shower. Other than that it was perfect ! »

« This was a wonderful place to stay. It is quiet and peaceful. Being located on a street with very few homes made it feel like we had the lake to ourselves at times. Not to mention, the lake is just a short walk down a paved street. The home was immaculately clean. It is older (like a lot of places at the lake) but extremely well-maintained. The huge screened in porch was amazing. We had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed having such a nice and comfortable place to stay. Host was super easy to work...
