«  The Jarvis Point home might be the most fantastic VRBO home that we have ever visited. It is true waterfront and outstandingly so - it is probably 30feet from the shore. It offers an unbelievably panoramic view of the waterfront, especially from the bedroom on the third floor. We found the home most suited for a couple with youngsters, or a couple with a young adult as was the case for us. It is an outstanding home and a special place with every amenity. »

« The cottage was nice, rustic and nautically decorated. The location was good for the areas we wanted to visit. Safety Concerns: The porch steps to the side door were very steep - should be 4 or 5 not 3. The mold in the upstairs shower was a issue, and the lack of useful railing on the steps to the upstairs. The decorative railing was difficult to use for balance. »

« It was very small. Bathroom shower was slippery and unsafe. Property was very neat, clean, well-stocked, and check-n was easy. HVAC system was wonderful. We could not walk down to the dock due to having knee replacement surgery and no handrails. Very little to no shade from the sun even on the back porch. »

« We just got back from a long weekend at the Crab Shack. We had such a great time at this lovely spot. Could not have been more comfortable or relaxing. « The home and location are very nice and as described. The reason I am ranking only 3-stars is because the house was very hot when we arrived. We turned the AC to 71 degrees, yet the WYZE thermostat kept remotely changing to 79 degrees. It was about 95 degrees outside, so we couldn’t find any relief from the heat. I contacted the owner a couple of times about the temp changing and was told “Sorry! We’re out of town”. Ultimately, the thermostat shut off completely. We tried to turn it back on with...
