Your trip begins here at Sea’s the Day, a 3-story, 3-bedroom oasis ready to host you and your family for what will soon come to be the trip of a lifetime.  
  
Nearby, Gualala Point Regional Park offers scenic trails through redwood forests, where you can hike and picnic, keeping an eye out for local wildlife. The park's bluff-top paths provide sweeping views of the Gualala River as it meets the Pacific, creating a picturesque scene for nature lovers. Just a short drive South, you'll find the awe-inspiring Sea Ranch, a planned community known for its distinctive architecture and preserved natural beauty. Here, miles of hiking trails lead to hidden beaches and rocky outcrops. Gualala is a small town located on the Mendocino Coast in northern California, known for its beautiful beaches and redwood forests. The town is home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and art galleries, as well as several campgrounds and hiking trails. One of the most popular things to do here is to visit the Gualala River Redwood Park, home to a grove of ancient redwood trees, some of which are over 2,000 years old. Visitors can hike through the park, picnic, or camp. Another popular activity is whale watching, as the town is located on a major whale migration route, and whales can often be seen from the shore.
