« This was a wonderful location for our family and dog to stay. The home was beautiful and the beach was lovely as well. It is quite a hike to the beach but there was a handy wagon there for our stay that we used to take things out to the beach. »

« Beautiful little cottage with an amazing view. Bring your fishing rods. We caught some fish on Lake Van Etten. We swam in the water which was nice. There are stairs to get in and out of the water and when you go out towards the middle of lake the bottom is sand. Bring a roku stick as cable is provided. Washer and Dryer. Large kitchen. Plenty of pillows, sheets, blankets, towels etc. The hosts are wonderful! P.S. the train comes 2x at night. »

« Our family has an annual reunion in Oscoda with canoeing and this year our 11 person group decided to forgo the hotel and found this beautiful rental. 1 minute walk to the beach, 1 minute walk to downtown area, big backyard with built in firepit, 5 bedrooms, to living spaces, large kitchen/dining. It was perfect for us, plenty of space to spread out and go out and enjoy the area. 10/10 would recommend. »

« We thought we had the most comfortable bed at home but we found this property has the GOAT of beds. I need one now. Erin is super nice and helpful, she brought us a freshly washed blanket and a home made bath soap that smelled divine! Soft towels that actually wrap around the body, clean and comfortable linens.Beach towels that were better than the one we have.The apartment was so clean and I know clean. We plan to stay here on a regular basis when in Tawas for our sailboat. »

« Brett was a great communicator and very responsive to messages. Check-in was easy. The house was very clean & comfortable. The only thing that I want to comment on are the stairs. The stairs to the upstairs are very steep & the stair steps are a bit short. We navigated the stairs slowly and carefully, but if we had anyone older in our group, or with knee problems, it would’ve been a problem. Even with the stairs, we considered this a great property & had a great stay. Enjoy! »
