"I was pleasantly surprised about everything at Hotel Garbada. All the staff were helpful friendly and welcoming. The breakfast choices were quite adequate for ourselves and prepared to order. The hotel is perfectly situated - a short stroll to the beach and restaurants, and right by the bus stops. Garbada is probably best suited to couples and small groups rather than families with children. The pool is very small but it created a pleasant area to sit for breakfast or with a reasonably priced drink, and the bar was always open. When I return to Palmanova I will most definitely book this 2 star hotel with 5 star service."

"We were really impressed with this hotel. Great location. Pool was good too (just beware it’s 3m deep!) and not a fight for a sunbed. The bar at the pool was reasonably priced and the unlimited brunch was excellent - just a great touch that made it feel premium. It was generally very clean but the bathroom looked tired (but bear in mind this was September after a busy season) and I’m not sure our bedding was changed in the 6 nights we were there. All in all, we’d absolutely rebook this hotel and would recommend it to friends and family."

One note for travelers, I strongly recommend that you research Malaguf before booking. If you are looking to party, this is definitely the spot to be. If you are looking for something a little quieter, perhaps a different location is best."

They are basic and dated, and if you are just looking for a base, then you need nothing more. The location is fantastic and the views amazing. We had no issues staying here."

"The property was absolutely gorgeous, if you don’t have a sea view, please upgrade to one, you could not beat that view, and you get the sunrise which is just so beautiful. The property was very clean, staff very helpful, only downside is that every little thing is an up-charge. I didn’t really enjoy having to always whip out my card to have to pay for the umbrellas they advertise at the beach, or just little things like that. Staff was always very friendly and helpful, from checking in, to taking luggage, helping with car rentals, calling taxis, very approachable and also would approach you most times so you never felt like you had to just deal with an issue. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would come back."

"We stayed in a suite with access to the VIP area. The gym and spa were both very good and the rooftop pool area was well worth the upgrade. Vanessa does a fantastic job managing the VIP pool bar. The fridge in our room didn’t work but aside from that the room was lovely and the bed super comfortable with good, quiet air conditioning. We stayed half board and found the food and dinner service a bit average with long waits for drinks and food to arrive whilst staff standing around. This year the hotel was trialling set meals rather than a buffet dinner. We found drinks at the hotel were expensive. The Kabo beach bar was excellent and the food and service so much better than the hotel despite the hotel also owning the beach bar. We would return as the hotel and location are lovely, but would not opt for half board."
