« Had a great weekend at the house for a family get-together. Loved the firepit and covered gazebo with a stone fireplace. Such a wonderful place to have dinner on a cool evening. Booking was easy, communication with the owner was flawless, and the house was perfect for our group. « Check in was super easy. The host messaged me the code for the door lock on our day of check in and no issues. The room is above a steakhouse in an older, Victorian style home. The room has everything you need. A bed, a smart tv, a toilet and a shower. The room was clean when we arrived and the shower had different shampoos and soaps in it. « The property was great minus a tonnn of bugs that fly in but you’re in the woods and there’s a fly swatter provided. There were a decent amount of large ants though that we also had to kill (at least ten) all over the unit. What was unfortunate was that on the second night a really loud alarm went off twice at 3 am and 4am. I was traveling with young children so obviously this was not great. « We had a wonderful stay at the Appalachian Resort hosted by Milagros & Sergio. They were incredibly friendly and gave us clear and helpful explanations from the start. The room was very clean, and it was great having the water park within walking distance. They also offered flexible early check-in depending on the situation, which we really appreciated. « Our family of 20 had an amazing time- the house is beautiful and very roomy with enough space to gather for games, etc. The 3rd floor playroom was awesome for our 6 and 7 year old grand kids! The kitchen is fully stocked with enough cooking equipment and utensils - making our cooking and eating for this # of people successful! The pool is beautiful with lounge chairs and tables and we even got in a couple of tennis and pickle ball games! »

I always worry about security with bikes being so easy to steal, but this property is incredibly private while also being easy to access with a short trailer.
