"We had an amazing stay at this lake house! The owners were wonderful to communicate with—responsive, helpful, and made everything easy from start to finish. The listing is exactly as shown in the pictures and described, which made arriving and settling in completely stress-free.We traveled with our three young kids, and the house had everything we needed, including a pack ’n play with a mattress, which was such a great convenience for our youngest. The outdoor space was one of our favorite parts. Our whole family spent so much time outside enjoying the lake, and the dock house was incredibly well stocked. Having a refrigerator in the dock house was a huge plus for keeping drinks and snacks for the kids cold, and the lily pad was a favorite!The Blackstone was another standout. It really elevated the whole lake experience and made cooking for our group so easy without having to spend much time inside. It also gave us the extra space when the stovetop was otherwise in use! The location was perfect as well. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, but still close to several stores for last-minute items.Overall, this house was comfortable, family-friendly, well equipped, and gave us everything we needed for a fun and relaxing lake vacation. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it! Can’t wait for our next stay."

"Excellent host and property. My large family have been going to Lake Gaston for over 10 years and this was by far the best equipped house we have ever stayed in. The large back porch was great for the older folks to sit and watch the kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. The twin refrigerators in the kitchen worked out well for feeding our small army. The dining room table that can seat 20 people was especially nice. Even the boathouse was full of items like floats and kayaks. I was getting calls from nieces and nephews who saw our pics who want to know if they can get on the vacation list after seeing the pics of the house."

"We couldn't have asked for more for our extended family gettogether this summer. The house had plenty of bedrooms for our group of adults and young adults. The game room had lots of options for activities when it was rainy or too hot to be outside. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans and there was more than enough room for everyone to be able to eat together. Also, the family enjoyed having easy access to the lake which allowed lots of water-related activities. The property managers were always very responsive and helpful, before, during, and after our week. And we particularly appreciated Kacie and Kendall's assistance with the pontoon we rented."

"We visited with a family of 8. (3 kids, 5 adults). The space was perfect for us. The rooms on the main floor had adjoining bathrooms, which was nice for some privacy, one person stayed upstairs, though there was space for 2-3 more, and she had her own bathroom. The 3 kids stayed in the basement, and they loved all of the "extras" down there. Our 13 year old spent the evenings learning to play the piano! Our 8 year old loved the video game console and the ping pong table, and our 11 year old loved the easy access to the dock. The house has everything you need - the views are amazing, and we loved our time on the back deck (morning coffee and conversation) and the dock was where we spent the majority of our time, between the slide, the kayaks, the raft, the boat. The games in the basement were a nice bonus as well -- charades, trivial pursuit, apples to apples, puzzles. We would stay here again."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. The Lake Gaston view was spectacular from all of the decks. Plenty of space and the boat house/amenities were a hit with our whole family, ages 3to 61. Highly recommend this Lake Gaston lake home!"

"We had a great week at Vacate Reality! House was super clean upon arrival and had no issues during our stay. We had plenty of room to spread out inside and outside! The view from inside was perfect and appreciated the house being so close to the lake. We cooked all our meals with the great kitchen and two fridges made it really easy to have everything we needed for the week. The dock was great especially the covered section. Will definitely look at coming back to this house if the opportunity allows! Thanks for hosting!!!"
