« This cottage is magical. The perfect blend of a country cottage with all the modern conveniences in a great location. The entire cottage was spotless. Crisp sheets and bath towels were provided. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. There is a gravel walk down to the pier where we loved floating in the water and watching the sunrise each day. « We’ve spent a decade on the Lake and we had another wonderful trip! THANK YOU to Mary who was a fantastic hostess from the very beginning – wildly responsive to messages, checked in on us every few days, provided recommendations in the area, and greeted us with flowers / coffee / chocolates at the house. « My husband and I rented this house for our daughters, their spouses and my four grandchildren. This property is even more beautiful in person. Had all the amenities and more. We had the best time hanging out on the dock and riding out on Lake Gaston. We had a memorable time and would love to do it again. »

« We had a great time at Songbird View! The house was perfect with an amazing view. There was plenty of room for our family to space out and enjoy themselves. « The Perch is an amazing rental comfortable beds, nice layout well stocked kitchen with even spices that u can use. Shampoo and soap included. Hairdryers in every bathroom! Nice towels, nice bedding. Spiders are a little bit of an issues in exterior area but I just swept most of them away. Perfect location with a Tiki Bar and Restaurant in walking distance. Amazing water views! The best VRBO we have ever rented!!!! Will book again when in the area. »

« We rented this place for family and friends and it did not disappoint. We had 16 people…6 adults, 6 teenagers and 4 younger kids from 5 to 11. The only negative was the dock. It needs some new wood. Other than that, the house was as advertised. The house was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. »

« Our family enjoyed our stay very much, the host were excellent and the house is well equipped. The indoors was very clean but the deck and outdoors furniture were not as clean as we would have liked. You cannot swim off the dock, but we managed to kayak out and swim. »
