"Traveled to Divi Aruba All Inclusive last week of February 2026 with my spouse. We have made 7or 8 prior visits but none within last 4yrs. Pros: Weather mid 80’s, ocean was clean and calm, staff are generally friendly and attentive to the duties. Garden view room was clean, comfortable and a short distance to beach. Cons: Restaurants on site are lacking and have limited menus with the chef’s take on preparation. Asian, Mexican and Italian restaurant meals contain non traditional ingredients so ask before ordering. The Mediterranean restaurant we passed on but it offered no hummus dish. Buffet is reduced to one resort for dinner so can be crowded but has many options including hummus. The beach is hit or miss on available chairs and palapas for shade. Aruba’s law allows anyone to use a palapa located on the beach, not just paying resort guests. However many of the people also feel free to use the resort restrooms, beach rinse stations, Wi-Fi and garbage receptacles. Lots of bottled beverages consumed on beach also. Disappointed resort security did not try addressing issues but instead stayed completely shaded while also enjoying the wi-fi playing on their phones."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property in Aruba. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how well cared for and thoughtfully prepared the home was. Everything was spotless—the entire place was exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained, which made it easy to relax right away.The location was perfect, making it simple to get to beaches, restaurants, and other attractions while still feeling peaceful and comfortable. It was an ideal home base for exploring the island.We also appreciated how well stocked the property was. The kitchen and living spaces had everything we needed, and it was obvious the hosts put a lot of thought into making guests feel at home.Overall, we truly loved our stay and would gladly return. "When we come to Aruba we usually stay Marriott. This time we decided to try Joia. It’s a new hotel. But that’s where the good things stopped. If you come to the beach too early no umbrellas or chairs are put out. Usually they’re starting to do that after 8-8:30 am. Also, if you didn’t come early enough the staff puts towels on the chairs claiming it’s for members only. So if that’s the case it should be advertised as such hotel. For members of some club only. Apparently if you paid $1,000.00 per night it’s not good enough for staff to accommodate you at the beach. The waitress service at the beach is the worst. They’re just doesn’t want to work. Staying most of the day under the trees. If by any miracle you see waiter passing by you better make sure he takes your order or you would have to wait forever for him to come again. Rooms are new and clean. However, it may take cleaning crew to clean your room whole day. Lots of people complained that rooms were cleaned way after 4 pm. Also, if you have reservations outside the hotel leave extra time for the taxi. It’s not easy to get taxi at this place. But more importantly, check your final bill carefully. We had quite a few charges that wasn’t ours. Truthfully, I wouldn’t go back there again. "

"Beware when you book Divi hotels Aruba.We chose all inclusive & paid good $ and they put us up at the Divi Dutch village and told us that the all inclusive was not included.They wanted us to pay $200-$250 per adult each day for the all inclusive package!We were upset but ate dinners and some breakfast outside the resort and on site because Aruba has great food and great restaurants so we made the best of our 5 day trip."
