TV a bit tricky to set up for local news and difficult to remove subtitles on bbc iPlayer. Bathroom a bit cold at times and not on same floor as bedroom and lounge. « Myself and my wife booked this cottage as I was competing in a mountain bike event nearby. The cottage was perfect for our needs with large modern bright rooms and ample space. The garden looked very well kept with patio doors leading onto it. The parking itself was ideal with a courtyard immediately outside, just make sure you have checked the exact location first as the last 100m or so are on a narrow gravel road which isn't the obvious way if you haven't checked it out first.I would...

« Park Cottage is set in a lovely location in Cally Woods (so many great walks and cycle opportunities). Also with use of the Cally Palace Hotel facilities including the swimming pool. However the house was unclean, especially the kitchen with unusable pans and not enough cutlery to sit 9 people in one setting. There was black mould on the downstairs bathroom ceiling. « Lovely clean caravan on a quiet very well kept site. Lots to see and do around the area, we had a fantastic 3 night stay. Lounge area spacious and double bed very comfy. Only thing I would say is that the twin beds are small my teenagers were too big to get comfy, would be OK for younger children. »

« My friends and I had a wonderful weekend stay at Seabank. The property is homely and cosy (especially once the coal fire is up and running!) and the large kitchen areas made cooking and dining together very straightforward for our group of six. The local pub is less than 10 minutes' walk, although make sure to take a torch if you'll be returning in the dark! I would highly recommend Seabank to anyone looking for a base to explore the nearby walks and sights, or just for a quiet getaway. »

« The house was an ideal setting to see in the new year. The area has lots of interesting walks and cycling routes. The hosts provided plenty communication ahead of the booking and accomodated for our youngest guest (1 year old). The property could benefit from a few more kitchen essentials (bin bags, dish clothes etc), but this a wasn't major issue. All in all, a really nice stay. »
