DeBordieu Villa in Marsh Lake - Close to Beach and Pool

This wonderful 3 bedroom Marsh Lake villa is the perfect space for couples or a girls weekend. With a king in the master and two queens in the additional two bedrooms, each bedroom also has it's own private bathroom. The crisp, comfortable decor is perfect for relaxing with its plentiful supply of natural light. Featuring a fully equipped and updated kitchen, wifi, cable TV, large sectional couch in a spacious living area, open porch with super view - this unit is sure to become a favorite! Guests will have access to Marsh Lake community pool and use of the new 6 person golf cart for the 2023 season!

DeBordieu features private beach, walking paths, nature trails, award winning Pete Dye golf course, playground, sand volleyball court and much more. Come stay for a weekend, a week, or even a couple of months!

Effective April 3rd, 2023 - Little Bit of Everything has a full Sports level Debordieu Club Membership, additional fees apply.

No smoking and No pets.
No motorcycles or motor homes are allowed in the Debordieu community.

Perfect location- charming home
Our family of four enjoyed a comfortable stay here for a wedding. With beach chairs and golf cart included, our stay was stress free for a long weekend. Would love to stay again! Thank you!

Family gathering retreat!
We rented this villa as "overflow" for a short stay at DD to attend a family reunion. It was perfectly suited to our needs! Clean, well-appointed, and GREAT location. 2 min car ride to the beach access and club. A little longer by golf cart - which is provided with the rental! Great perk! It even has a neighborhood pool close by! With only 3 bedrooms, I highly recommend this to any smaller groups of friends or family. A minor inconvenience is having to pick up the key in Pawley's Island, but if you plan ahead, it's no big deal. We look forward to staying here again sometime!

A little bit—the perfect fit!
This home, so comfortable, suited us very well. I entertained friends and found that I had good resources to do so with fun/decorative trays etc…well stocked bar glasses etc…really liked the floor plan and we made good use of the golf cart. A must have. A very enjoyable experience. Great location also!

Very nice
I grew up in the area and I never knew this community existed. It was very nice and quiet. My family will stay again. The only cons would be there were roaches around the kitchen table and ants in the master shower.

5 of us for a girls weekend and 60th birthday celebration.
The house is beautiful! Kitchen is well stocked. So handy to have the gold cart -fyi the right back tire was low so we put some air in it. Owners may want to check it. Enjoyed a perfect beach day. We were lucky and saw dolphins, alligators, deers, and many birds. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

This property is nice, moderately clean (I had to wipe the window sills over the kitchen sink of old moths and clumps of dirt/dust). Property in need of deep cleaning and some updating. The Master bathroom has ancient toilet and shower. Bed linens in the master were very old. The kitchen was pretty much a mess in the drawers and cupboards...and yes, we do cook.. it took forever to find things. There was no teapot or hotwater pot for tea...I had to heat water daily in a saucepan. The freezer had lots of old ice stuck in the bottom. The whole house seemed like the owner has not been up to date on making sure it is presentable to renters who pay a lot of money to stay here. Also, we have been renters at Debordieu for over 20 years, but have not visited in the past 5 years. The new policy of paying 200.00 A DAY for guests to use the club facilities and then be charged for a game of tennis or fitness center in addition to that, or a cocktail at the beach is absolutely ridiculous! Membership cards were 20.00 a week and the club billed you directly for any expenses.

Great property, but inaccurate listing
This house was a perfect location and size for my family and our sons’ two friends that joined us. The kitchen was well equipped, the living space was spacious, the outdoor deck was enjoyable, and the golf cart was very useful. The listing states that the house comes with a beach and tennis club membership. While that is correct, it does not mention that in order to use that membership, we would need to pay $200 a day in order to gain access to the beachfront pools and restaurants. That is completely false advertising and misleading, and the description needs to change so people know what they are getting when renting the property.
