  • Enjoy your vacation in our newly built Casa Blanca beach inspired home. Located just 2 blocks from the beach.

    The open concept main level offers comfortable living with spacious Chefs Kitchen overlooking the Dining Room and Living Room and with Wood-Burning fireplace. Perfect for reading or quiet time, the cozy Den overlooks the first floor and is just 3 steps up from the main level. There are 2 Bedrooms each with Queen Beds on this level with 2 Full bathrooms. The Upper level offers a spacious Family Room with TV and Air Hockey and opens onto a balcony overlooking the yard with treetop views. There are 2 Jack and Jill Bunk Rooms with an assortment of Twin and Full beds sleeping with a Hall Bathroom. The Master Bedroom has a King bed and a large En-Suite Bathroom. Escape to lower lever for a game of billiards, ping-pong, sports-tv.

    The wrap around deck offers areas to lounge and dine complete with Gas grill. Shower off in our outdoor shower and relax in a hammock after a fun day at the beach; a picturesque fully landscaped spacious lot featuring a wood burning fire pit, with enough room for outdoor play like our bean bag toss and other outdoor activities. Home easily sleeps up to 17 people, advertised rate is for up to 10 guests. Fees apply for each additional guest over the allotted 10.

    Camera on the exterior of the property offers additional security.

It had enough space but upstairs was very hot and there were a handful of things that were not functioning properly. I feel like it was a bit pricey, for what it was, but it was enough space to accommodate my family. Inside seemed pretty clean, I thought it was OK.

we were a family group of 17. The house accomodated us very well, with many modern updates, and entertainment amenities. While located in a neighborhood that had seen better days, Casa Blanca was a nice oasis. There were small issues (downstairs sink did not have cold running water, only the hot spiket worked, and there were not enough forks for all of us); but the pluses far outweighed these small issues. Located just a block or two from a lovely beach and withing driving distance to several other beaches/dunes, it was a perfect place for beach exploration/vacation. Miller beach had a mini mart and small grocery store for day to day essentials, but try to do your major shopping in Merryville or Portgage (about 25 minutes away). One other lovely benefit was the South Shore line that provided a rail experience into Chicago one day. It was a fun family excursion. Being a group of 17, we have found VRBO's throughout the midwest for our family summer vacation. Case Blanca provided us with a great home base for another meaningful time..

There are more amenities than we can use. Our third year having our family Christmas in this wonderful property.Comfy, spacious room for everyone. Kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking. Great location, quiet neighborhood, responsive host. Could not ask for more!

The home had plenty of room for all of us. The location worked well for the activities we wanted to do. Check-in was easy. Kitchen was well equipped. We enjoy our stay.

Fantastic location-the walk to the beach was easy. The beach there is absolutely lovely. Fine, soft sand, cool water, and always a breeze off the lake. The house is beautiful, though we did find that walls and floors were a bit thin and let through a lot of noise. LOTS of space for a large group. It was nice to have two big living spaces so we could spread out. The kitchen was easy to cook in and have several people working at the same time. We did find that there wasn't any storage space to put non-cold food, so everything had to live on the counter for the week.We had a couple of issues with the space that were never addressed. The beautiful master bathtub was unusable because the stopper was broken and we got no response to the issue. The littles and the ladies were disappointed since we'd brought products specifically to enjoy lovely baths. We also had the air conditioner stop working properly on the upper floor for the last half of our trip. We also received no response to that issue.

Family gathering

Very nice inside accommodations. Roomy, equipped, clean, and fun. Social coffee on the front deck started our mornings (some updated cushions needed). Enjoyed the game rooms and nightly games, family meals, smores at the fire pit, and close proximity to beach and park.

Sports weekend!

My family stayed her during a swimmeet for my daughter in nearby Hobart. It served as a perfect home base. The host was super helpful during check-in and the house was immaculate. We’d definitely stay here again!

So Nice, We Visited Twice

We enjoyed our stay so much in 2022, that we came back in 2023 for Thanksgiving gathering of extended family. Love the quiet location near the beach of Lake Michigan and Chicago skyline views from the nearby park

"A fantastic stay! Communication was excellent/seamless with Margaret, and the home was exactly as pictured." While the check-in took minute to figure out, the host was super responive and the rest of the stay was nice. The host was reponsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable trom start to finish.We had a minor issue, but the host handled it in 15 minutes. This proactive communication turned a potential problem into a non-issue! The weather had another idea that stop us to use the beachfront, park and hot tub, because of the rain. The host provide everything we needed. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay and the neighborhood was safe. I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere eles next time we are in town. If you looking for stress-free stay in a great location, in summer so you can enjoy everything around you to do. Thank you!

Lovely stay with short walk to Lake Michigan

This house was the perfect location to meet up with Grandma and Grandpa while we were traveling with our 3 kids and dogs. The house had plenty of space and was just a short distance from a walking path for our dogs, as well as a short walk to the beach. We were able to visit Indiana Dunes National Park easily and were only a short drive to the train station that took us into Chicago. Great location. Lots of wild life to view in the neighborhood.

Weekend in Gary

The house was well stocked and very close to the beach and Marquette park. The hot tub was a hit and we loved all of the different hang out areas. The host was also very responsive. Highly recommend!

Loved the house, it was great for a family stay! Kids had a blast with all the amenities. Wish the sprinklers didn't go off Sunday morning, made the yard unusable for most of the day.
