"The property has no front desk, but staff replied quickly to text messages and were very helpful and friendly. There is no lift, so getting to the property requires one to climb many 50 stairs, which is a concern if one has heavy luggage, one is tired or one has even the slightest mobility issue. "Shared bathroom means you could be waiting a while to use it. At time of my bathroom was occupied for almost an hour by 2 women in other room so you can be in trouble if you urgently need to use toilet as there are no other options, at least none I was made aware of. Also the place can be very noisy. Room was adjoining front entrance and you could hear people coming and going."

"The hotel is located in the city center, where you can find shops and restaurants, and of course, the famous Focaccia Genovese. It's also just a short walk from Brignole train station, and buses stop right there to get around the city. Don't forget to take bus 31 to visit Boccadasse. Excellent hotel, well-priced, friendly staff, and clean. I'll definitely be back."
