« Mammy’s Cabin was perfect for a long weekend away from the city. The cabin is rich in history and bursting with charm! We loved reading the story of how Mammy’s Cabin came to be- and finding our own connections along the way! The kitchen is well stocked, bed is comfy, and the views are spectacular! The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. We enjoyed cooking, local restaurants, and nearby hikes! It was a great weekend and we hope to be back! »

« This property is absolutely beautiful! It is spacious but cozy, and we liked that it had a bedroom downstairs. « We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and perfect for us and 2 kids. We enjoyed fishing in the creek and caught a few trout. We enjoyed playing games at night and built a bon fire. The location was perfect. We were able to visit some nearby waterfalls and drove south to Tallulah falls and Clayton Georgia for a day as well! »

« The property is absolutely gorgeous and located close to town. We enjoyed watching wildlife and people floating in the river. Our only complaint was the water in the house smelled like sulfur. The property manager came right away to change the filter and it helped but you can still smell it. As someone with a well myself I struggle with the same issues. Didn’t keep us from having a great stay. Just make sure you bring your own drinking water. »

« What a wonderful cabin! I booked it because of all of the screened in porches. Unfortunately for us, the temperature dropped into the 40s, but I managed to spend some time reading and listening to the stream behind the house on the porch. We loved all of the details. The artwork and photos on the walls were wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great! Our only problem was the WiFi and password were incorrect. « Very clean and furnished with EVERYTHING you might need. Single lane road proved challenging on one occasion when we came head to head with 2 other vehicles and a ditch on each side. Driveway near by enabled us to pull over a little…but not too far as backing down the driveway would be difficult. Driveway to our house was steep but much better. Good shopping and eating in town plus easy drive to Waynesville and Cherokee. »

« Booked this property for me and several friends on ADV Bikes. Unfortunately, I got sick the day before the trip. My friends had a blast and kept face-timing me to show me how awesome the place was! « We stayed here for one night after attending a late evening graduation at Western Carolina University. We checked in extremely late but that process went smoothly. The only issue we had was with the TV remote but someone came promptly and fixed that issue. Breakfast was included with our stay. The dining area was kept extremely clean by a cheerful and pleasant staff member. We tipped her very well to show our appreciation. You won't go wrong staying here! »
