"This place exceeded all expectations, and I was already expecting to enjoy it! It's larger, cozier, and more welcoming than pictures show. Once my dogs gave it their 15-minute sniff around, they felt at home as well. Not unlike many of the other past guests, but only regret is that my stay wasn't longer. This place is a gym for sure!"

"The yellow door lodge will be my go to from now on whenever we have events at our church with out of town guests. The place is super clean and in a very nice neighborhood. "We had a great stay. The house was perfect for our large, extended family. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect set up for several family groups to stay in one home. We loved the outdoor covered area and pier/dock. The Cornhole game was a hit. We even caught some crabs. The yard/pier/dock was a concern when I booked because our group included 2 children under 4. "We stayed here for 1 night while passing through from FL to NC. The house was a short distance from I-95, so that was nice. It was very quaint. We were traveling with dogs, so the backyard would have been nice, except the grass was a bit long, so we could not let them out. However, the quiet older neighborhood allowed for great leash-walking! This was a nice alternative to a hotel because it was quiet and gave us a little more space. We were there for less than 12 hours, so we did not have...

"We wanted to visit my daughter and her family at Fort Stewart but didn’t want to stay in a hotel. Fortunately we found this lovely property that allowed us to spend as much time together as possible before she left for Poland. The pool for my grandson to play in was a big plus. Charlene (the owner) was very responsive to our questions. I hope we can get back before my daughter leaves on her next assignment."

"There are many pros with this property but a few cons. Beds were hard as a rock, had difficulty sleeping there 5 nights. Neighborhood is a little sketchy, I also regret not staying closer to Savannah. We caught a few small bass and a catfish in pond behind house. I requested twice to chat with local owner/ property manager before our trip as we had questions about fishing, ect and never heard back so that’s a CON about this listing for sure."
