"Bathroom (toilet and shower) was very small and outdated. Carpet needs to be replaced. Beds / pillows were OK. TV was good. Little view of the beach from our first floor room. People at checkin were very helpful and cooperative. "

"I loved that I was able to see the ocean from my room. The indoor pool is so clean and perfect for kids. The pool was temperature controlled. Breakfast was really good. Room service was okay but overall it was great stay. "

"The check in and out very convenient. The staff also quite friendly. The view from the top of the tower beautiful. I stayed in the Raven room in the water tower, it was quite dusty, I understand there is a lot of wood and antiques,however it can be dusted or wiped down with a damp cloth. The baseboards,door ridges etc. It made me concerned about how much effort is put into sanitizing touched surfaces. The first night very quiet and enjoyable. I can see how a "best practices " for staying in the tower could help others be more mindful. When your neighbors start to share the tower it gets very loud with the stomping, and the tower does shake, maybe these are characteristics I should have considered on my own? Overall I fell in love with the charm of the photos and felt a bit disappointed in the reality. For my stay at least I did not experience the magical charm that I saw in the photos and was hoping to enjoy. The location is very convenient, and appreciated the tower parking."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby looked warm and cozy. The room needed updating but it was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We had a nice harbor view. I would have loved to drink my coffee on the balcony but the coffee tasted funky. I used my own filtered water and Peets pods (provided by the hotel) so it's either the Kuerig or the creamer in the room. My friend said the same thing and she was in a different room. Also, our cable channels were pixelated, my friend did not have a tv problem. I did like the free EV charging for guests! I would stay next time I'm in town."
