Quiet and cozy apartment just renovated, located in Via del Campuccio 39, in the historic center of Florence a few steps from Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti Piazza Santo Spirito and 200 meters from the entrance of the famous Boboli Gardens.
The apartment has internet with unlimited high speed access, satellite TV, dishwasher and air conditioning. For the winter there is a comfortable heating system.
The apartment, located on the 2nd floor, consists of a large and characteristic living room with stone reliefs and exposed beams, with sofa-bed and dining table, a bright double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen with oven, oven microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher; of an anti-bathroom and adjoining bathroom with shower. Unlimited wi-fi and air conditioning included in the price.
The kitchen has basic ingredients at your disposal (coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, water, spices, tea).
Equipped with 3 beds: a double bed and a sofa bed; on request a cot-cot (0-3 years) without additional costs.
Pets are accepted free of charge.
It is possible to park the car at the private parking, for a fee, at the Fosi garage (www. Garagefosi. It) at 200mt from home.
Located in the "Oltrarno" neighborhood (elected in 2017 by Lonely Planet the "coolest" in the world !!) in the heart of medieval Florence, artisans, master carpenters and romantic gardens.

Amazing Stay!

This apartment was a joy to live in for my month stay in florence! I didn’t know much about the neighbourhood at the time of booking but it turned out to be my favourite in the city. Filippo was an incredible host and extremely accommodating. I am planning on booking this apartment next time I visit florence and would definitely recommend to a friend!

Filippo est un hôte très serviable et à l'écoute. Nous sommes venues 1 mois dans le cadre d'un stage à Florence et nous nous sentions comme chez nous. Appartement agréable et très confortable, parfois un peu bruyant la nuit mais sans excès. Tout est présent pour passer un bon séjour. Le quartier (Santo Spirito) est également très agréable, animé, éloigné des circuits touristiques avec des endroits très typiques et attachants. Je recommande fortement!

This apartment is located in the San Spirito neighborhood. There are many excellent restaurants very close. The apartment was well equipped and spacious. The host was very helpful and met me upon check it.

2 months in the apartment

Pictures represented the apartment accurately. Nicely decorated and comfortable. filippo was a wonderful host. The apartment location was great. We quickly found 3 favorites. Cafe di Piace for coffee and snacks and Trattoria Diladdarno. Both on Via del Serragli. The Trattoria location in Google Maps is not correct. it is in the block future north. Another place we liked was Mama’s bakery. A couple of things to note. As typical for old buildings, it is a long haul up the stairs but there are landings to stop and catch you breath. The shower is tight for a big person, but Filippo provides a squeegee for slatter control we are already planning a return visit

A great stay

This place was close to everything in Florence’s city center by walk., yet not as busy as the tourist hotels area. Filippo was very responsive and a great host. Everything was clean and kitchen fully equipped. Even coffee and some cooking condiments were provided. There are a couple of markets steps from the apartment as well as coffee shops. Quiet area. I will certainly book here again during my next visit.

Excellent Property and Location

The apartment is exactly as pictured and described, and the hosts are EXCELLENT! Filippo met me there the day of my arrival, and showed me where everything was and how it worked. When there was a problem to do with the wifi, he answered me right away. It is within a 4 min walk to numerous restaurants (some even closer), and a 6 min walk to a small grocery market. Loved the area immensely! Lots of small galleries and shops around, and an easy walk to most things. My only suggestions would be some area rugs as the floors can be really cold. Be advised if you have difficulty with stairs it is 39 tough stairs to the apartment after coming in the front door, I was sure I had checked the description many times to confirm it was a ground floor apartment as I do suffer from back issues that can make stairs difficult, but I was booking several places around the same time and may have been looking at something else. Either way I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to be back again! Thank you so much for making the place available, I truly enjoyed meeting with you and my stay in Florence!!

Easy access to Main attractions by foot

We were an easy 10 min walk from Ponte Vecchio and old city. Apartment is spacious with large living area. The kitchen is small but well equipped. I was able to cook a couple of easy meals the nights we didn’t feel like eating out. The main problem is the bathroom -very tiny and impossible to shower without wetting all the floor area around the toilet-meant mopping up each morning and trying to dry bath mats for the next day. Also, 3 flights of stairs up to apartment! Very noisy early in morning.

Il Posto Perfetto! The Perfect Place!

I couldn’t be more happy with my stay at this lovely apartment. The apartment itself was comfortable, very spacious with high ceilings, and with air conditioning that worked like a dream and probably saved the life of my dog numerous days during the three months of the very hot summer we spent there. Filippo was there to greet me with a bite to eat when I arrived after an incredibly long day of traveling. He was attentive and helpful when I needed something fixed, he came right away and took care of the problem. However, the best part about this apartment is the location. I was a short walk away from the best restaurants in Florence and the artisan shops. I was essentially neighbors with Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens. The best gelato and panini places are all within a short walk. If you’re looking for a more authentic Italian experience, this is the place to stay. There are always electric bikes nearby that make getting around the city quick, easy, and enjoyable. I am personally so lucky to have chosen this apartment because I met the most amazing people in the piazza right down the street, and I fell in love. There are plenty of lovely apartments in the city, but this place was perfect for me. Non potrei essere più felice del mio soggiorno in questo bellissimo appartamento. L'appartamento era confortevole, molto spazioso con soffitti alti e con l'aria condizionata che funzionava come un sogno e probabilmente ha salvato la vita al mio cane numerosi giorni durante i tre mesi dell'estate molto calda che abbiamo trascorso lì. Filippo era lì ad accogliermi con un boccone da mangiare quando sono arrivata dopo una giornata incredibilmente lunga di viaggio. Era attento e disponibile quando avevo bisogno di qualcosa da sistemare, è venuto subito e si è occupato del problema. Comunque, la parte migliore di questo appartamento è la posizione. Ero a pochi passi dai migliori ristoranti di Firenze e dai negozi artigiane. Ero essenzialmente vicini con Palazzo Pitti e al Giardino di Boboli. I migliori gelati e panini sono tutti raggiungibili a piedi. Se stai cercando un'esperienza italiana più autentica, questo è il posto dove stare. Ci sono sempre biciclette elettriche nelle vicinanze che rendono gli spostamenti in città veloci, facili e divertenti. Per me, sono così fortunata ad aver scelto questo appartamento perché ho incontrato le persone più straordinarie nella piazza in fondo alla strada e me ne sono innamorato. Era il posto perfetto..

Wonderful Apartment for a Vacation in Florence

This spacious, comfortable and well appointed one bedroom apartment is a couple of blocks from the famous Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens and close to the Basilica Santo Spirto as well as the lively downtown area just south of the Arno River. We had a lovely six day stay there. Downtown Florence with all its amazing sites is an easy walk across the Ponto Vecchio. Great restaurants and open air cafes abound. The owner, filippo, was a wonderful and accommodating host who answered all of our inquiries very quickly. We would recommend this VRBO without hesitation.

Lovely apartment in the heart of florence

I had a lovely stay in the apartment and the location was perfect. It was close to everything but still at a distance away from all the tourist. The area is often quiet at night but just a 5 minutes walk to the resturant and bars. The apartment is great and had everything I needed for my stay. Home warming flat

Me and my family (3 adults) spent two weeks in this beautiful flat. It’s an old apartment with lots of history but has everything you need e.g air conditioning, wifi etc. There’s two big double beds. The place is spacious and designed well. I would mention that there’s old stone steps so be careful with your luggage. It’s in a good area of Firenze. Close enough that the central is walking distance but far enough that you don’t deal with the tourist night life in the evening. It’s very close to santo spirito, a popular place that has great restaurants. Other places such as duomo are about a 20 minute walk. The river - Ponte vecchio is very close. Flippo was very welcoming. He left us maps to help us find places. We had his contact details incase we had any questions but we also had our privacy. We don’t have a single bad thing to say about our stay. I’d recommend this place to everyone, families, couples, friends etc. The flat itself is a good place to stay short term or long term. If I’m ever back I’ll be staying here again. Grazie mille Flippo!

The location of the apartment is great. A very nice area and everything of interest is within walking distance. Filippo, the owner, is very friendly. But it is good to know that a) the bedroom is at the side of the street and there is noise from the early morning especially by scooters, b) the apartment needed some extra cleaning, the pillow sheets and the towels were not clean but we were happy that Filippo replaced them rapidly and c) we found the double bed very hard as it consists of two matrasses on wood boards and especially one matrass is very bad.

Great location, very secure building and great host!

The apartment is exactly as described and matches the photos. It is centrally located to most attractions, Palazza Pitti museum, Boboli gardens, Ponte Vecchio. I stayed here for two months, from Feb-April 2018. The building is very secure and gated, which is important for me, a Single female traveling solo. I felt very safe in the building and the general neighborhood. There are lots of restaurants nearby grocery stores, laundry, banks, all within minutes away. Filippo is very accommodating and helpful. He met me at the apartment earlier than my expected arrival time, as my flight arrived extra early. He had the apartment stocked with items, including wine and water. He is also very responsive and ready to take care of any issues. An extra THANK YOU!!! For carrying my extra, extra large suitcase all the way upstairs. It is also worth pointing out that there are several flights of stairs and no lift in the building, in case that might be an issue for some. Overall, i had a wonderful two months here and really enjoyed Firenze. Tanya.
