Top Firth of Clyde Hotel Reviews
The Tontine Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The Tontine is a delightful old-world hotel — complete with beautiful stained glass in the entry windows — that befits the heritage of its neighborhood. Staff were extremely helpful, accommodating my flight-caused schedule change, and room service was very quick and exactly the meal I ordered."
Ingliston Country Club Hotel
8/10 Good
"Lodge was nice and cosy, clean with parking outside it which we didn’t realise as we parked in the main parking and walked down. Food was good with a good selection. Staff friendly. Would stay again"
Abbotsford Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"As a family of 5 it is very difficult for us to find hotel rooms to accommodate us. We usually have to get 2 rooms which of course doubles the cost. The family room here allowed all 5 of us in one- with a separate area with bunk beds and is phenomenal value for the price we paid. Comfortable beds, good facilities. It’s not The Ritz but it doesn’t need to be. The staff are brilliant. Super friendly and go out of their way to help. Good car park. The food both at breakfast and in the evening was wonderful. Really really tasty, good food. We loved our stay. You cannot fault it for value for money. We even booked to stay again a week later on our way back down from the highlands before travelling on to the midlands. Highly recommend."
The Glenburn Hotel
8/10 Good
"A grand hotel from a grand age - which is now showing its age. Lovely views, good bar, breakfast was okay."
The Harbour Hotel
8/10 Good
"The room had basic furniture and the room was clean and was hovered every day with new towels. I was surprised one day my husband and I came back to find our pyjamas had been neatly folded and put on the bed. I missed having a hair dryer in the room and had to go out and buy a travel one. Most hotels and Premier Inns that my husband and I have stayed at supply a hairdryer. The breakfast was continental which we like. The mattress on the bed could have been a bit firmer but we managed. The staff were friendly. It was good value for money as our stay included breakfast. Also you could walk into town from the hotel."
Auchrannie Resort
8/10 Good
"The hotel was nice. The food at the Brassels was better than the Cruzerie (?). The hotel was pet friendly. The rooms were a great size and comfortable. Unfortunately, we couldn't do much as you have to book everything in advance. We were not aware that you had to plan ahead."
The Lynnhurst Hotel
