« Wow! The photos don't do the place justice, its amazing! The communication and access are easy, on arrival a lady showed me the place, there's a set of 4 or 5 together which are seperate from the tourers etc. Theres nothing you don't need inside, shower, toilet, sink, microwave, kettle, toaster etc and all top branded quality stuff. The units are very new and modern and have been decorated to the highest standard. The views are to die for and its a few minutes drive into Forfar. Cant wait to use...

« We really enjoyed our stay at Birnie House Cottage and Aileen and Bob really made us feel welcome. They were so helpful and kind, always helping to plan our outings. The cottage was very cosy and we also loved the garden, the squirrels, the walk in the woods with the dogs... « Hotel okay but nothing special... Lack of towels in our room was annoying.. It was late and I didn't want to down in the lift to ask for more.. Basic room looks like a Youth Hostel with no soft touches or fittings... Colour scheme isn't exactly soothing... The empty first floor is a worrying feature for lone women entering in the evening.. Anyone can enter.. Very unpleasant.. Reception is on the 2nd floor so help is not available.. Women bear this in mind if planning to stay.. »
