"Stayed in 2 x Lux rooms with the family over the Easter weekend. Rooms were an excellent size for a city hotel. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and had a drink in the bar. Food and cocktails were excellent and service was also of a very high standard. Breakfast was also of a very high standard, with barista coffees made to order. The hotel is in a good location; a short walk to the city centre and ferry to islands. The area itself is full of cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. Would definitely return should we visit Helsinki again."

"I was quite surprised that in one of the more expensive rooms—a deluxe room with a sea view—basic amenities such as slippers and complimentary water, bath foamwere not already provided in the room. I had to return to reception to request these items, which was inconvenient. For a room of this standard, I would expect such amenities to be readily available without needing to ask, as most guests would not want to make an additional trip to reception. I would recommend ensuring these items are included in the room as standard (and bath foam) to better match the expectations associated with this level of 5* accommodation. "

"Basic 3 star popular with tour groups and teen school groups. Clean though outdated decor, electric and bathroom. Decent beds. Nice breakfast buffet. No cafe or dining on weekends. Counter staff exhibit only basic courtesy. "
