« The office manager was friendly and helpful. The room we had was on the back side with a beautiful view of the country side and very quiet. Out of all the motels I have slept in this one was the most restful one. It was clean and well kept. Air conditioning/heat were not overly noisy. We went to a place called Chicken Cook at the Exon station about a quarter of a mile or so up the road. Best fried chicken and sides, move over KFC! I would definitely stay at this motel again. Top rate! »

« Good location for UVA graduation. However, the king size studio room was unusually small. To our surprise and dismay, when we opened the sofa bed, one couldn’t get from bedroom to the bathroom room anymore - you had to step over the corner of the sofa bed which inevitably woke up our son sleeping there. To make matters worse, bathroom light didn’t work, so we had to take showers in dark - after informing the front desk immediately, it didn’t get fixed during our stay. Apparently, the...

« I would’ve given this hotel five stars, had I been charged their normal rack rates. It’s brand new, beautiful, and has an extremely friendly and professional staff. Unfortunately, at nearly $1000 per night on graduation weekend, it raises the expectations and the hotel does not meet that price category of property. It’s a clearly cashing in on a captive audience but seems to be a common theme in the area. That said, as long as you avoid the gauging times, this is an excellent hotel near UVA. »
