Large fully furnished,centrally located northern Minnesota retreat .

  • This large home is nestled on 162 acres of private property.Large enough to accommodate bigger groups but cozy enough for smaller groups as well,, Lots of parking for 4 wheelers, boats , snowmobiles, trailers etc,, centrally located to several lakes, 4 wheeler trails, the mesabi bike trail, fortune bay and giants ridge. Come home from a long day of skiing, fishing ,, or riding the trails ,, and enjoy the fireplace , sauna , pool table or ping pong.. we also have 2 outdoor fire pits for a relaxing evening outdoors looking at the stars or the northern lights! Do you just want to relax on the property?? ,, we also have hiking trails and cross country ski trails on the property.Bird feeders are always full and a chance to see the local wildlife is always fun.
    kitchen is fully stocked,, bathrooms are fully stocked ,, beds are comfortable,, Really a Great find in northern Minnesota!!

Nice place to relax after long days of fishing.

We came up to go ice fishing on Lake Vermillion and needed a place to stay that wasn't too far away. Lowell and Nancy have a beautiful home tucked in the pines with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend!

The home was AMAZING in every single way. The hosts created such a beautiful space - with more than anyone could hope for. They had baby stuff, a pack and play, fishing gear, and dropped off an extra pair of snow pants for us on the fly! It has a lot of space, so you can spread out without feeling on top of each other. Our son LOVED the sauna. Definitely coming back again!

A beautiful place in northern Minnesota

We came for a golf tournament with our spouses. Men golfed and the ladies shopped in Ely and Tower. Beautifully located for us to go separate ways and come back together in the evening!

Giant’s Ridge/Wilderness Golf Trip

Very clean, quiet and no unpleasant surprises. A very nice touch was the Kurieg stocked with a variety of K-cups and the Grandma’s cookies. The pool table was an added bonus for 4 golfers that got rained out one day. Overall, we had an excellent stay.

Peaceful weekend getaway

Wonderful hosts and a wonderful getaway in the woods for ATV trail riding. A great place to relax. We will definitely come back and bring friends. Super fun exploring the area. The home was large enough for everyone to have their own space and home was very well stocked. Thank you again to the hosts. So nice!!

Excellent find for our long weekend

We needed a place within proximity for a party we would be attending. This was a lucky find to have the necessities and room to prepare food. The house is laid out so that we had plenty of room to relax and have our own spaces. The pool table and sauna added to our great time. Would definitely stay here again! The owners could not be any nicer.

Relaxing and quiet!

We had everything we needed. The pool table was a hit with everyone. The area just got about 7 inches of fresh snow the day before we arrived and we spent a day at Giants Ridge and the rest of the time just hanging out at the house. We enjoyed walking through the woods on the trails. Would definitely go back if we went to the area again.

a perfect vacation getaway

This was a perfect property for three adult couples who enjoyed a weekend of four wheeling on the local prospector trails. Lots of space. There were three bathrooms so everybody had their own. We enjoyed the pool table area. The kitchen space was easy to use. The dining room table was big enough for our whole group, I particularly enjoy. Enjoyed the ultra peaceful mornings and the view when I was doing yoga.

Wonderful stay!

Nancy and Lowell were great hosts. We rode our atvs right from the property. No trailering is needed. They have everything you could ask for and more. So many thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home. We were not aware that there are so many bike trails in the area. If that is for you, you have great options. I absolutely recommend!

LIpskis Naturals Family working vacation

Grandparentsa, Son, and 4 grandchildren had a beautiful and comfortable stay at your property. We all had been attending and selling our products at the Bueberry Art Festival in Ely. The weather at this time of summer can be challenging and it was very hot and humid as usual for the end of July. Being able to come back to the house for recharging was keeping us going. Beautiful location, spacious and clean home, wonderful host.

A few friends and I rented this property for a weekend of ATV riding. It was perfect. There is tons of space for a group, plenty of seating inside and out to kick back at the end of a long day of riding, and was equipped with everything we needed and then some. The host was more than gracious, and so helpful. We would absolutely return to the location in the future. Who knows, might try it in the winter. Was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of everything. It was very nice to have ample parking space with trailers as well.
