Spent 3 nights in Edinburgh. Excellent location. Right on the Royal Mile. Felt very safe and was clean and organized with a very much appreciated the welcome box of tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Only two things I would improve upon was that both beds are double beds, which are hard for two adults to sleep comfortably in together. The shower curtained area is also quite tiny.
Was (mostly) quiet, easy to find and central. Loved the view out of the window towards Arthur's seat. Would stay here again. It was myself in one room and my sister in another. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. The stairs up would be tricky for anyone with a lot of luggage or who wasn't physically able and fit. We managed with our large suitcases and backpacks though. We loved being able to come back for tea and treats in the afternoon in between exploring the city.
Lovely comfortable welcoming suite. Thoughtfully well appointed. Clean. Big rooms. Nice beds and linens. It is at the lowest end of Canongate so you might find yourself climbing up and down the Royal Mile a fair amount. There are a lot of stairs to get Up to the suite and the high ceilings, while lovely, make for a very long steep staircase up to the bedrooms. Awesome place to stay.
