« The only complaint was right at the end we were leaving around 9:30 a.m. and we had mowers come in and mow around the property at very high rates of speed. WE were afraid we were going to get hit by flying debris would have been nice if they could have waited 10 minutes for us to leave and then start since check out really wasn't until 11 a.m. »

« We needed a place to stay for a wedding and were very happy to find this gem! I felt a bit needy before our stay, but the hosts were very communicative and accomodating. The weather did not cooperate with our outdoor plans for the remainder of the weekend but we were set with board games, movies, and some quick hiking trails nearby. »

« This home was so well maintained. I love the little things like having everything labeled and instructions for the heating and cooling system. We also appreciated the quality of the kitchen/cooking tools (pots/pans etc.) and the mattress. This house lacked absolutely nothing! The owner kept great contact with us. « We haven't been to Galena since 2019 and we were eager to visit a wonderful area of Illinois. We weren't disappointed with our visit starting off with Ginger's wonderful, secluded home. The property was as described and worthy of the 200+ ten-star reviews. Having 3 bedrooms, each with their separate bathrooms was perfect for the 3 couples that comprised our party. « This place was very nice and cozy. We had a little mix up when we first arrived but the owner and cleaning lady were really nice and great and got things taken care of right away which we appreciated. The trails are super close and we took our dogs on lots of walks. The location was very close to the golf resort if you’re a golfer and just to drive around the scenery was amazing. I would definitely stay here again. »

« Stayed here for a long weekend in beautiful Galena! Fur baby was welcomed & the townhouse had everything from a kennel, leash, bowls etc! We loved the golf course and the clubhouse! « Our stay was cut short due to the weather. The location was good for going to Galena and around Dubuque. Were allowed to drop off our personal items early which was nice. Sad the hot tub had leak we were looking forward to using. The bed main floor was comfortable. My daughter stated upstairs was not and she didnt get a lot of sleep. »
