"Hotel seemed to be understaffed, so expect a wait at the bar and don't forget to request for your room to be cleaned upon check - in if you like your bed made and fresh towels after a long day out, otherwise, the property was nice, clean and in a great location for our stay."

"Hotel was good. We did have loud music one night due to a private event, but it stopped at 10 pm so not a big deal for us (would have been a different story if we had little kids though). Free breakfast could be improved. We chose to get it elsewhere each day (Starbucks and a great bakery are right down the road)."

"Hotel and staff were great however, the breakfast was very small and expensive. I got oatmeal and my wife a croissant with an egg... oatmeal was super small and I think it was instant for $12. My wife's egg was very small as well and the egg was not even cooked for $13. I will come back to this hotel however we will try something else for breakfast for our next trip.."

"The room was very clean, although I had asked for it to be cleaned, and it was not cleaned on Saturday. In addition and more importantly, only one elevator was operational the entire weekend. It seemed from talking to other guests that it had been out for a bit. It was the tail end of school vacation week, so the hotel was very busy. The amenities are great, and I was excited to use the pool for exercise, but because it was the end of school vacation week, it was busy from open to close, with lots of kids and no time for just swimming laps. Overall, a great weekend in Portland, and the accommodations were very nice. It was a great place to have a home base as we toured all that Portland had to offer."

"Room was spacious but not cozy. Very comfortable bed, lame coffee in room no microwave. Added the parking for $11 which was worth it but it was across the street in public garage up on 5th floor, not bad but a bit inconvenient."

"First thing you would notice is that the Inn is a very old establishment. But don't let the age fool you. The entire building inside and out is A+. The bathroom which should in my opinion should be the telltale as to how everything is maintained. Our room was on a 1 to 10 was at the very least a 20! The room rates are affordable, the staff very welcoming. Highly recommended and we will stay here whenever we are in town."
