"The hotel was amazing and quiet. The swimming pool is in the spa and the spa desk staff were very rude when we showed up. We only used the spa (hot tub) and get there more than an hour before close, only stayed like 20 min. The spa desk lady was rude with us upon arrival and seemed like she didn't want to be there. The other gentlemen doing the cleaning and checks was super friendly sand amazing. The front desk did ask if we wanted to book dinner upon arrival and it was a nice touch as we didn't know when the restaurant closed. Loved the hotel and the peaceful area."

"The food from breakfast to dinner was top notch. The staff was more than accommodating and it was like I knew them for years! The scenery is second to none and the pubs were friendly and they embraced the rural pubs of old, simply charming. If going to Achill this is the place to be."

"Cora was an excellent host. She was the best host we ever had! Each bedroom had its own bathroom and they were very spacious. The house was so clean and well kept. The property was close to the water and a short walk into town. We absolutely loved spending our time in her home. If we come back, we are staying there again!"

"I've stayed here twice with family and this house already feels like home. The view out of the front is Clew Bay and the view out the back is a sheep pasture, which is especially delightful during lambing season. When night falls we read stories by the fire. What could be better? "

"House was spotless, cosy and warm. The owner thought of little things you may forget to bring with you, condiments, cleaning stuff ect. The house location is perfect, half way between Keem beach and Achill sound where you enter on to the Island. We had such a nice time there and hope to return next summer when the weather is better.
