« Fabulous cabin on the river! Awesome nature views and sunsets were amazing. Whole front of house including the master bedroom is all windows for breathtaking views. Relaxing, peaceful, hot dogs and s'mores by the campfire along the lake....can't beat it! »

« we enjoyed our stay at this property. The hosts were attentive while still respecting our privacy and obviously wanted to be sure we had a good experience. The space was as described and the pool was terrific. We enjoyed being in a smaller town where we could see stars at night but close enough to Rockford with plenty of things to do. »

« It was a last minute booking , I booked it and everything went through, got a message from the owner saying it was booked already on another website, I would appreciate it if this site communicated better with there clients so in the future this doesn't happen, as I'm still waiting for my refund, I will continue to use this website and I hope I don't have to go through this ever again. »

« Spent 2 nights at Knox Hotel. There was a booking mixup that owner tried to fix a month ago, but we missed the communication. They worked out a fix and gave us a price adjustment due to different rooms..very willing to work with us. Hotel is not mobility friendly—1-2 steep stairs, but rooms are charmingly restored with historic furnishings. Great Cafe Grace just across street, and wonderful shops/wine bars/bistro/pizza too. Keurig in hallway, no ice or onsite restaurant. Ear plugs and eye masks...

« This is a nice, quiet neighborhood off the beaten path. Rock Falls/Sterling is a small town so you are not far from anything no matter where you stay. The place is very cute & chic/modern decorated. Owner was easy to communicate with & responsive to our requests. Very clean & fit our needs. Will definitely stay here again. »
