It’s a historic house, so it has a different feel than a modern house, but it had all the amenities that were needed. « Unsafe property and very dirty. No hot water during winter season and microwave wasnt working. Would not recommend. I am not picky at all but the fact that I booked for over 1 week and had to leave 3 hours into my stay was a horrible experience. Owner did not want to refund nor reimburse. The automated messages were clear and concise, but the listing says we could request checking in early, and I called, and messaged and was ghosted. If we could not check in early, that was fine (as we obviously did not check in early) but a simple communication would have been nice. »

« I personally loved what I got to experience in Detroit and wished we would have stayed longer. All my pre-arrival anxiety was unnecessary. This is a lovely renovated home in a nice, safe neighborhood. The pictures well represent the property. My only constructive criticism is that I would have preferred a regular coffee maker. They provided a nice french press but I like to preprogram and have my coffee ready before I get up. Also, I would suggest providing some extra blankets in the closets for...

« We stayed here for a quick volleyball weekend. Not too far from that venue, it was nice to have the full kitchen/house space vs. the tightness a hotel would offer. We were very happy with the accommodations. One thing we would say is there is not enough flatware/dishes for the number of people that can sleep here. We made it work though and enjoyed our stay. »
