One bed side light was dodgy with its connection so we didn’t use it and the other one didn’t have a lead long enough to reach the socket! "We enjoyed every aspect of the lodge, from the room to the spa to the restaurant to the safari! The staff are genuinely kind and very helpful. Unfortunate for us, a tropical cyclone moved in on just our second day and we were all forced to stay in and not go out on safari for our safety. The staff took such good care of us all, ensuring we were comfortable and cared for. While other lodges were closing and being evacuated, Kapama River Lodge did not miss a beat. In addition, they took in guests from other lodges and gave them the best experience possible. I will say, we had such an incredible first two safaris, seeing so many animals and learning so much from our guides, that despite everything we still left fulfilled and happy! "The host was spectacular and the staff kind and helpful. Loved the Safari decor in the great hall. The rooms were really nice, good mini fridge, great tub and separate shower. The breakfast was delicious! Location was great- and secured entry onto the estate. Great place to walk about and see wild warthogs, kudu, steenbok and monkeys. It was a perfect spot to be to drive to all the animal places (endangered species center, Jessica the hippo, the elephant sanctuary/orphanage and the wildlife rehab center). Highly recommend! "

"Nyati is beautiful, spacious, friendly, efficient and considerate of special dietary concerns. We stayed in Rhino Tents which were luxurious and comfortable. Staff went out of their way to make our experience amazing. Wildlife was everywhere but we felt safe on the resort and on safari. It was an experience of a lifetime!! "
