« Came to visit our daughter at college, and brought our dog with us. Love that we could do that! Great location and beautiful outdoor spaces. Some great things about the cottage that we didn't even see in the description: - Very close to rail trail - nice walk to Taughannock Falls about 5.5 miles round trip - Heated floor in the bathroom! - Gas fireplace comes on automatically based on temp setting - very cozy! »

« Cindy is a really wonderful host and was so helpful. Even before we arrived she contacted me to make sure I could find the property. She even gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy a long with many excellent restaurant and winery recommendations. The home itself is very cozy with a beautiful view of the lake. Fireplace is warm. Kitchen is large with all the cookware needed. Walmart is 5 minutes away for any supplies. Watkins Glen hike was made so much better by staying here. Highly recommended. »

« This property is incredibly spacious! Our group of 14 had more than enough room to relax, socialize, and unwind comfortably. We especially appreciated how well organized everything was—from the initial communication with clear, helpful information, to the labeled cabinets, to the detailed checkout instructions.Logan was extremely responsive throughout our stay. When we had an issue with the coffee machine, he quickly ordered a replacement that arrived within the hour and even included coffee...

« We would give this 10 stars if possible. Cannot say enough good things about this place. There is nowhere like this, if you are looking at this listing and it is available, book it now. We can't wait to check it out in every season. Winter was especially wonderful for the hot tub. We were fortunate to get a clear night and had a beautiful view of the stars. Christina is a wonderful host who has gone above and beyond to make a very special getaway. »

"As soon as we arrived, the clerk told us how to get to our room, but it wasn't clear. The manager took care of us to show us our room. His purpose was to sell us the dinning facility, and he was a little too pushy for me! The driveway to the check in had a big hole which was easy to fix temporarily with a bag of gravel rock! The front door of our room was filled with sticky leaves from last fall. The environment around the Hotel is splendid. "
