10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is beautiful with amazing views and excellent staff. The hotel has a free shuttle service between 8.30 and 4.00 to Jungle Beach and the temple. It’s also just ten minutes by tuktuk to Galle which cost about £1.50 - £2.00. The pool is lovely and the roof top bar sells great cocktails. We ate dinner at the hotel which was delicious and reasonably priced. They were very accommodating of our dietary requirements (vegetarian and vegan.) We had the Sri Lanka breakfast - again prepared vege/vegan. But they also offer English and continental which looked delicious too. All of the plug sockets in the room were uk sockets and so the universal charger we had been travelling with wasn’t compatible. However the manager leant us his travel plug which was very helpful. This was my favourite hotel in Sri Lanka and I wish we’d stayed longer. "

"We were greeted with a delicious welcome juice and a cold towel. Check in was speedy, bags were promptly delivered to our room and the room itself was spacious, cool and with a nice view. The hotel provides towels for the beach as well as the pool and the breakfast was a good spread with an egg station. All staff were friendly and calm. Coconut tree hill is a very short walk and mirissa beach was 200lrk in a tuk tuk but was also walkable. Would definitely stay again"

From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality stood out — and to our surprise, we were upgraded to a stunning luxury villa room with the breathtaking beach view & pool. 🌊🌴 Every detail felt thoughtful — from the anniversary cake to the little celebratory touches that made us feel truly special. The staff made us feel less like guests and more like part of their story. It’s rare to find a place that balances luxury with genuine care. This one does it beautifully. Can’t wait to return — with a few more reasons to celebrate! 💙"

"We stayed for three nights with our 1 year old baby. The staff are excellent, so welcoming, and attentive and really enjoyed playing with our son. We had a sea view room, the view is beautiful, and the bathroom and shower were excellent - you can see the sea from the shower! The staff provided a lovely wooden cot which was perfect for our son. The cot fit next to the bed and the bed’s mosquito net covered the cot. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were very accommodating of our child’s needs. All in all, we would recommend to other families and travellers. The staff are a credit to the place. "
