« This is a fantastic property. Nestled right downtown, and in walking distance from pretty much anything you need. The only thing I would note is the parking is caddy cornered to the hotel, and there's nowhere to unload baggage. A small price to pay for a great stay, and fairly unnecessary for overnight or light traveling. Cypress and Oak has a fantastic menu and bar at reasonable pricing. »

« Although the staff was exceptional and the rooms were clean and comfortable, the hotel is under MAJOR renovations and things were slightly inconvenient. I’m sure it’s going to be wonderful when it’s completed but at the moment the lobby and 1st level are a mess. »

« Tout se présentait bien, abords de l'hôtel avenant, accueil sympathique, chambre très spacieuse et propre. Jusqu'au moment du coucher. Pourquoi une literie aussi déplorable ? La pire que j'ai connue depuis quinze ans ! Sans parler des oreillers du même niveau. J'ai vraiment très mal dormi. Petit déjeuner correct dans une petite salle agréable. Vraiment dommage car cela aurait pu être très bien ... mais je n'y retournerai pas »

« The place is surrounded by vacant run down buildings with broken glass all over the place. Cars in the parking lot look someone smashed in someone else’s windshield. Just a horrible place. Did not stay there didn’t feel safe having my family there. »

« The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made an excellent recommendation for food and drinks while we watched a football game. The only negative experience was that the toilet was not functioning properly in our room. We told the front staff and they informed us that no maintenance staff was available but that they would look at it to see if they could fix it. When we returned later in the day we went to our room and could tell someone had been there but toilet was still not functioning...

« The property is a repurposed historic home and the rooms very unique in the best way. Staff was so accommodating from housekeeping to restaurant and bar servers. Also, it's just a short walk to local shopping, restaurants and historic sites. We'll definitely be back. »

« What a treasure. Rose Hill Inn is a beautiful property walkable to shopping and restaurants. The owners are delightful… so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and we had anything we needed and then some. »
