« The property was well kept. The room was very well kept. I had a bit of trouble with the television. I reported it and they fixed it. Overall I had a great stay. I would definitely recommend it. »

« The property was awesome. Beautiful landscaping and a hillside of wildflowers which were beautiful. Room was very nice and clean. Totally enjoyed our stay. »

« Loved the fishing cabin theme. It was a little hard to find because it is setback from the road. »

« Breakfast staff was very good and she did an excellent job The food she had to serve was not I. The same category. I have had a lot of different continental breakfasts. This one was pretty poor quality. The orange juice was good. »

« Nice looking motel. The only thing that was sort of strange is that our room was damp. Near Trout Run Bike Trail. Biscuits and gravy was good. »

« Bon établissement et bon accueil, proche de tout ce qu’il y a à visiter dans la région. À recommander ! »

« Affordable, clean and geographically-appropriate themed rooms. Location was beautiful but the overall property was a little rough. Rooms were fine but the massive bed frames took up So much space that space was beyond maximized. Still, we enjoyed the theme and found the price to be very reasonable. I’m »

« Great historic place that has great charm. »

« This was a gorgeous and well located place to stay. The owners are very communicative and friendly, the food menu unique and large and the other guests seemed to enjoy their time here as well. It’s a quiet and peaceful place for our anniversary getaway. Thanks guys!!! Only certain rooms have certain amenities though so be sure to book the room that suites your needs. »

« The prairie and stream were beautiful. We loved the outdoor covered deck and the 3 season enclosed porch. Everything was clean. The fishing was good for the amount of rain we had. »

« Perfect getaway from others to work and relax! It is a hunting lodge, so it isn't anything fancy. However, we had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy ourselves. There was only 2 of us, so we didn't really use the whole cabin to review on a larger scale.Pool and hot tub were clean and great to be able to use throughout our stay. Air conditioning was always cold during this heatwave. Ceiling fans and small portable fans were great to have in rooms to keep air circulating.A lot of...

« The location and view was great, quiet. Air conditioner didn’t work the second night it was 85 degrees inside, first night was cool outside so wasn’t noticeable. We didn’t get back till late so we didn’t bother trying to get help with it. No working lights outside, blinds are all broken, fridge/freezer not cold my ice melted over night. Rodent killer bottle sitting outside the door. I cleaned the dehumidifier filter as it was completely coated with dust. The ac head is dirty so it probably needs...

« This is an amazing property. So quiet and peaceful. We used the fire pit at night to really relax. We went to decorah. Waterfalls ate at multiple restaurants that were all fabulous. The downtown decorah is acute quaint community. Everything was very clean and fresh. We would highly recommend this place to stay. »

« Do not book this property! Arrived and it smelled musty. The yard was shin high, not mowed and the fire pit was dirty and no firewood. Had an issue with the gas stove, called the host. Ended up having called the fire department on our own, they recommended we get our stuff out. It was 11 o’clock at night and went to a hotel. Had booked three nights only stayed one night and no compensation.! Hosts were not helpful and we’re quite rude. VERY DISAPPOINTED »

« Love the location of this place with it being right downtown and close to a few places to eat. That being said, traffic can get a little loud! Comes as a warning that there are stairs…they are definitely more difficult when having to carry luggage up/down them, so take that into consideration if you’re bringing a lot. We were only there one night and our kids are old enough to help so it was fine. Not sure that the air was working great - would have liked it a little cooler while sleeping....

« Loved the spacious apartment style - easy to relax in one space while others slept in. Beds were comfy, temperature was perfect even during an Iowa heatwave. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. (coffee in the cupboard!) Off street parking was a really nice perk. We will definitely be back! Almost forgot! The Koreana Japanese restaurant downstairs - perfect for a late night snack! 😋 (Along with beers from Pulpit Rock & Topling) »

« Beautiful, quiet setting. Fun experience staying here. »
