My stay was ok. The room was not very clean. There were women’s underwear left in the bathroom cabinet and the dining table was sticky. The room was so humid that there were puddles of condensation on the floor. The listing says towels available. I had 4 towels for 2 people for a 4 day stay and had to wash them myself if I wanted them cleaned. They also have you take the sheets off the bed before you leave and take the trash out. I could have stayed at a different place for the same amount and have clean towels and not have to pretty much clean the place for them.

The pictures are a bit deceiving, it has its wears and tears, you have no internet or WiFi basically the whole stay the only time you get service is in the bedroom right by the box, your window in the room is a view of the dark hallway outside, plus side is you just walk out to the beach, you can’t bring towels or chairs you have to rent so that was a bummer. Tried contacting Vacasa which is what it had me book through and they are very unresponsive and when they do it takes hours and they might show. They were under construction so lots of debris everywhere and they shut down an entrance to get in so part of parking wasn’t functional

We will definitely not be back.. The facility itself is extremely run down and our unit smelt of mold and rotten fish. We were told there would be construction during our visit, so I reached out to confirm the pools and other amenities would be open. Was told they would be but when we arrived the outdoor pool, indoor hot tub and half the elevators were not working.

Loved the location! Parts seemed a little outdated but looks like they were renovating. Room itself had a smell when you walked it but decorated tastefully! Fit my family of 4 perfectly!

Loved the beach. The condo looks old/worn. There is an odor upon entry & throughout the condo. The carpet was dirty!!!! The bathtub backed up when showering. And the door to the hallway would not close without a shove - very unsafe. I paid a resort fee but the outdoor pool was closed due to construction thereby limiting the amentiies. And I had to bag my own trash and strip the beds per instructions. Pretty expensive to do my own clean up.

The property location was great but the outdoor pool was closed due to construction and the indoor pool was always full. The kind bed was very lumpy and the sofa bed was not comfortable. The temperature was hard to gauge so it always felt wet and humid in the room. We weren’t able to get any extra covers so we froze at night. We didn’t like how we were able to get more towels and were told we had to figure out with what we got. We didn’t know where the laundry room was or the trash shoot. The building needs renovation and an upgrade in furniture.

The property didn't match our expectations based on the pictures, and i was disappointed with the lack of flexibility during check-in. I couldn't get in contact with staff to schedule a slightly earlier check in. Also, I didn't know it was an older condo. That was something i would've liked to know.

The property itself was very nice and easy access to the beach. The room is individually owned and could use a bit of update. The shower wouldn’t drain and the condo smelled like fried fish, but it was probably the people before us who fried it. Overall, it was decent for a quick trip and I’d still stay here again.

We loved this property! It's unique because it has more of a hotel feel than a condo feel. The lobby is clean, the staff is friendly, and they have a restaurant and convenience store on the first floor. We'll definitely be back!

We’ve been to Destin several times, this was the best property we have visited. It was clean, safe and kid friendly. The front staff was more than helpful, the pool was clean and it was steps away from the beach. We will absolutely visit this property again.

Booked through Expedia and I’m sure we got the worst room they had and they refused to trade it even though they had plenty of rooms available! The best part was the proximity of the beautiful clean beach. Would choose a different hotel next time.

It would have been nice to have coffee and coffee filters, sandwich bags, salt and pepper, etc. In the condo. When you fly in you don't want to have to purchase all of that plus butter, seasonings, etc when you just stay for a short time. The condos in Hilton Head have everything you need to help prepare meals. A hairdryer would also be nice.

The space of the rooms is nice. However it smelled very musty. Seems to need a few updates. The room we got was supposed to be an "ocean view" instead we faced buildings and had to go to another corner of the room to get somewhat sight of the ocean. The property in general was a bit outdated.

We can all find the negatives but I wanted to remain positive and well it was a place to get some sleep and For the life of me don't understand why the mattress bed and pillows were just uncomfortable and the bottom of bed was hanging torn. The towels were stained, its just sad. I guess I expected more for the money and condos but unfortunately we will not be staying there ever again. Just fyi bring own towels, coffee filters, coffee and although it states Keurig it was a Mr Coffee regular coffee maker. I came prepared with k cups called down to front desk and told I could go to the store. Not very nice. I took before and after pics just in case because this particular condo was not up to date at all. Wish I could say anything positive but...only positive was the area, adventures, and restaurants. Needless to say we did not spend much time in the condo.

For the price It was OK. Do not go through a 3rd party, like Expedia, when making reservations. The resort itself treats you like a second class customer. Any requested changes are met with destain by Expedia Customer Service and virtually no assistance is provided by resort staff. TVs were initially unusable as was the phone. Not enough towels are provided. The staff at the bar and grill, Rosadas, were extremely friendly and a pleasure to interact with, refreshingly efficient.

The condo itself was horrible. The owners need to really update room #1016. Bed was hard. Furniture upholstery was extremely soiled. Limited TV channels. I will not be using Expedia again.

As soon as I walked in our room there was a roach crawling down the wall, could not get the living room TV to work and the door to the fire extinguisher was locked. The front desk made me feel stupid when expressing my concerns. I had to call for a can opener because the ones we had in the room would absolutely not work. They told me house keeping was gone for the day and would be in the morning so I had to go purchase one. They never brought us one. The air conditioning was very poor. I expressed several concerns and the fact that I was really disappointed and they just dismissed me. I spent a lot of money to have thanksgiving on the beach and a mini vacation that turned into a big disappointment.

Great location!
It was a great experience at the Sun Destin beach resort. The only issue is we thought we ordered a full view of the sea and was told it would be a full view. The resort stated the sea view was only a coastline view (partial view) of the sea. The resort advised we should have chosen a gulf view but it was not available at the time of purchase in September and we thought we were receiving the gulf view but was misinformed. We spoke to Hotels.com and they provided us with a 200.00 coupon toward our next stay. Overall, it was still a great resort and would go back again.The resort was close to restaurants, mall and the beach. I would recommend the resort but Hotels.com website should describe the rooms better.

If you read any reviews on this property please read mine. I drove 12 hours to spend my 55th birthday with my daughter at this “resort.” We were told we were on the first floor, not even the 2nd or 3rd floor and that we had to go outside to reach our room. I paid over $200 a night for Unit 103. I walked inside and had tears in my eyes. There was a Walmart plastic bin for our belongings, no comforter for the bed or pullout sofa, seams falling off the shabby lamps, mismatched cheap and filthy furnishings you would not even purchase at a thrift store. No ocean view as promised. In fact, you couldn’t even see the beach. The outdoor bar was closed. The room had a Cheeto on the floor and hair from the last guest. I immediately complained. I was told I would have to wait. There were holes all over the Matress pad on the pull out. My daughter talked me into staying and I went and got groceries the next morning. I went to get a glass and the cabinet door literally fell off. I went back to the front desk with images. A manager came down and I showed him the disgusting images. He offered to have maintainence fix the problem that day and refund me one night. I agreed. By noon the next day when nothing was repaired I stopped a second manager. She said it would immediately be taken care of. Our belongings were still in suitcases on the floor as there was no appropriate place to keep them. We walked in to two unannounced or requested house keeping staff hastily working, one on crutches. My
