Enjoy this gorgeous log home on a private lake in the north woods of Minnesota! Open floor plan with high ceilings on main level with living room, kitchen, and sun room for dining. Hardwood floors throughout with views of the lake and the natural flowers from all rooms and broadband Wi-Fi. A warm, inviting family room on the lower level with TV, custom desk, and laundry. Private access to lake with a dock. A great vacation getaway with all the conveniences of home. Pets welcome!!
The space
Need a getaway? Enjoy a change of scenery and be in your own large house on a beautiful lake with private lake access and a beautiful kitchen that also has 3 large bedrooms with desk spaces, and high speed broadband cable internet! Get away from it all safely in our house without even having to take vacation time!
Guest access
The entire secluded house, long driveway with additional parking area, hundreds of feet of lakeshore, a dock and an acre of woodlands are all yours to enjoy.
Other things to note
This home was custom built with love and patience. There are so many hand-crafted details and surprises that you and the kids will love (can they find the gnome home?). The kitchen is fully stocked and the Wi-Fi is lightening fast. The pictures make the home appear small but you will feel the openness once you step inside.

Amen Lake stay
The setting was gorgeous. The grounds were completely overgrown. You really couldn’t get out the basement door. The front entry was overgrown. The whole yard was overgrown as were all the paths. It appears like the owners have not been there for months. The floors in the main level need a serious cleaning. The fan in the main floor bedroom was on high and when my wife opened the door to hang some stuff in the closet, the dust bunnies were scattered all over the room. Every shower/tub drain needs serious cleaning. They didn’t drain properly so you were standing in water in the shower. The house needs some TLC. All the screens on the porch were packed with cob webs and dust. This is a great location. It was disappointing to see the neglect.

Musky hunters anniversary cabin
Anniversary trip coupled with a four-day musky hunt, which was actually not husband’s idea but that of the super fishy wife. The quaint and yet spacious log cabin on Amen Lk worked out wonderfully for us.

A very nice place
We liked the uniqueness of the house. We were glad to be able to light a fire in the fireplace. It was very relaxing and had all the special touches in the house to enjoy our stay.

Magical Cabin
Fantastic location, quiet, secluded. The craftsmanship is next level- a lot of intention and skill went into building this cabin, and it makes for a great vibe. I’m a stickler for aesthetics and this is pretty much a perfect log cabin. Also close to Grand Rapids, which makes errand and grocery runs easy. Would definitely go back!

Amazing calm and stillness
