« I had a peaceful retreat weekend at Spring House. The cabin was just as pictured on Vrbo. The picture windows in the dining room have clear views of the woods and the stream. I walked onto the deck to listen to the stream and look up at the trees, even though it was chilly outside. The cabin inside was warm and cozy. I would definitely stay in the cabin again in the future when I need quiet time away. It is also a short drive to Fallingwater, and I enjoyed a guided tour of the UNESCO world...

It's a great 80's retro place. There is some deferred maintenance but it did not interfere with our stay. « Everything was as described. The inside was clean, it smelled like smoke (fire not cigarette) but otherwise we were happy. The location was perfect for the 2 of us. We wanted to enjoy Ohiopyle during the day but wanted something quiet for the nights. We had our German shepherd with us, she loved running around the yard. Looking forward to staying again soon. »
