The best time to go to Dangan Lower is generally during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is at its most pleasant. During this period, you'll experience longer daylight hours and milder temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Connemara region and enjoying outdoor activities. The average temperatures range from 15°C to 20°C, superb for scenic drives, coastal walks, and boat trips on Lough Corrib. Couples looking for a romantic getaway will find this time particularly appealing. Harbour Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Staff were wonderful, place was very clean. Would 100"

Clybaun Hotel Galway

10/10 Excellent

"The room was clean, comfortable and modern. We had a very comfortable stay, I used the gym facilities and they where well maintained and helped to continue my fitness goals even on holidays. The staff where so friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. It's a very well situated hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be staying again."

Flannery's Hotel Galway

10/10 Excellent

"Although we had a car rental, we appreciated being able to use public transportation. There are buses regularly available in front of the hotel for easy access to the center of Galway. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed. We appreciated the coffee machine in our room which was replenished daily. Instructions for how to use the coffee machine were provided. Daily room service was provided without having to ask for it. We were unable to figure out how to use the TV. Instructions would have been helpful, but we had so much planned, that we never asked for help with it. Morning news would have been welcomed. Overall, we were very pleased with having chosen the Flannery Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Galway."
