The staff was wonderful, the room was clean, and the breakfast was great. I will say that it was very noisy, as it’s on a very busy street, and unfortunately, they were very loud guests across from us on the last night. Also, keep in mind that this is not an upscale hotel, it is a sweet local property that is away from the center of town in a busy area with lots of automotive shops (they do oil changes right in street). The price obviously cannot be beat, and we felt safe in the area, but it did take a little while to get to the old town. But I’d stay again for sure!

The Wayta Inn is a short ride to the airport and the Puru railway station. The staff treated me very well on the 2 separate nights that I stayed here. The manager, Marco, spoke good English and he was so helpful in explaining travelling to Machu Picchu, and getting to thePuru Rail train station.

The property was ok, owners were friendly. Room was comfortable, bathroom had a constant smell coming from the drain in the floor, shower drain had flyies coming out the drain. I stayed too far away from everything making it impossible for one of the tour groups to pick me up. Uber gave wrong directions twice. My taxi driver over charged me from the airport to the Wayta Inn, $60.00\. Didn\`t feel too comfotable in the area of the hotel.
