« My wife, two Labradors and I had a wonderful stay at the Stone House. The location was convenient to many local attractions. The house exceeded our expectations! Plenty of room, decent WIFI, AC for the hot days. There were water toys for the lake. Our dogs loved swimming in the lake each day and taking walks. It's difficult to find a rental that will allow two larger dogs and we are grateful to have found this place. We will happily return to Stone House for another visit. »

« This was the first time out family was in the UP and this was a perfect location. We were in driving distance of everything we wanted to see. Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, Mackinaw City were all within and hours drive. The house was well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. « We loved the amount of space in this home. We stayed there to explore the eastern part of the UP. Beaches on Lake Mighigan, Tahquamenon Falls, Fayette Historical Park, Mackinack Island, Kitch-iti-kipi springs. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard. New bath towels at the house would be an appropriate improvement. The ones that were there were pretty thin. »

« Twin beds are very comfortable and have stable frames. (no rickety beds here!) There are 2 additional cots available as well. The en suite bathroom has safety rails and a built in seat which was perfect for my 78 year-old mother. The front steps are a bit of a challenge if you have any mobility difficulties.
