Although we could hear people in the hallway and going up the stairs, we didn’t hear anyone else when they were in their rooms, not even the family with a baby. Breakfast was simple and a nice way to start the day. One problem with our room was a broken latch on the balcony door, so we heard street noise all night. My only other criticism was the $15 charge for pickup from the airport, which is less than 5 minutes from the hostal. We also had to leave at 6am, and the receptionist said she arranged a taxi to pick us up, but after waiting until 6:10, we finally walked to the corner and hailed our own taxi. Not the cleanest either. Staff are helpful booking taxi for us and also doing our laundry for $10\. Breakfast also basic, with bread, some fruit and eggs. It is far from most things, we had to take a cab regularly. I had to ask them to clean my room. I had waited 3 days.
