« The hosts were amazing. Chris and her husband, Wayne, were fantastic hosts. To our utmost delight, there was firewood stocked by the fire pits for our use. There was also BBQ grills available for grilling. The grounds were breathtaking, with incredible seating all around the river; double-sided rocking chairs, rocking picnic tables, and fire pit seating. The dock was perfect for river-side viewing and a quick dip for some. We will be back! A wonderful treat for our visiting guests. »

« It was a beautiful cabin that was clean and views within a short walk. The highway noise is a litte present but nothing that you can't adjust to and didn't keep us from a good night sleep. The checkout time of 10 was the only reason for a loss of a star. For us, this was a push to get breakfast eaten, dishes washed and packed up after a late night off the river. One hour more would have allowed us a bit more time to relax and enjoy the beautiful dock of the river. »

Amazing view of and access to the Kenai River! Only drawbacks are: road noise since you are on the busy Sterling Highway and no table inside to play games or sit everyone around for a meal. Outside picnic table is provided. Also, step up into the bedroom and bath area from the LR/kitchen is a bit hazardous...

« We were so impressed with the attention to detail we found in this immaculate home. The kitchen was stocked not only with plenty of dishes and glasses but also snacks, coffee, and spices. The spacious yard and many outdoor toys called to the children to play outside in spite of the rain. Inside, the board games in the sunroom kept them occupied. We enjoyed the quiet of the forest, yet were only a short drive from town. We will be back. »

"Un lodge familial très sympathique au bord d’un joli lac dans un bois près de la route. Tout le confort nécessaire. Literie très confortable. De nombreuses activités possibles (canoë, kayak, jeux, coin feu). Nous avons vu un écureuil en sortant de notre cabane. Restaurant délicieux et de qualité. Magnifique petit déjeuner à la carte inclus. Petite boutique / café / cadeaux sur place. Une belle halte sur la route de Seward où nous aurions aimé rester plus que 2 nuits !"
