« The house was big and perfect for our two families! The lake was amazing for both swimming and fishing and not very busy, especially during the week. We all had a great stay and plan to come back next year. The only thing I would change is a ladder from the dock to the lake to accommodate swimming and getting in and out easier. « Beautiful and spacious cabin which included many amenities. If your concerned about climbing many stairs to the covered boat dock, don’t be. The boat dock is only approximately 100’ from the cabin. The nearest boat ramp is maybe 5 minutes away and the ramp can be seen from the cabin. Many good restaurants in the area along with some great antique stores. Nashville is only an hour and a half away as well! »

« The property was great except the trail to the water is more steep than the pics showed. That said, our family had a great week. It was very relaxing since the road ended at the house. There was some kitchen utensiles that could be provided that are not there. Nothing major just nice to have things. Trash bags were a problem but we bought a box and left them in the house. « Property could use some updates outside, but inside (where it counts) was perfect for our group. The only complaints would be that the up stairs bed was noisy when you moved or rolled over. And there were tons of flies and drain flies which was a bit disgusting, but that was it. Otherwise everything was just as described and just what we needed! Thank you so much! »

« This place is very unique. Amongst a small community yet very private.. Once you arrive you'll understand. It's a 5 minute walk to a good home style restaurant right on the lake. Inside is very clean, spacious and modern. I have no complaints and found the property management to be very professional, prompt and fair. »

« Had a great time at maya 2. Loved the layout with the master bedroom being separated from the others. Offered enough privacy for us and our friends. The covered porch was great and where we spent most of our time. I would recommend a ceiling fan though. Tv was easy to figure out and we enjoyed a couple of movies. There’s not an ice maker so stop at Wayne’s and grab a bag. Overall a great relaxing week.♥️ »

« Our family trips for the past few years we have gone to Lake Cumberland. This was our first trip to Lake Barkley and it was everything we were hoping for. Gary and Theresa contacted us within a couple hours of checking in to make sure everything was okay. The house had everything we needed. Beautiful home! »

« We have stayed at this lake home several times and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The steps to the dock are minimal, which you don't find at Lake Malone. Being within walking distance to the marina is a bonus. Having the bedroom and space downstairs worked out great when our son joined us for a few days. Couldn't ask for a better location and layout. Communication with host was great! »

« The house was very accommodating. Beautiful home. There were a few things we found broken upon arrival that I messaged the owner about. Nothing that bothered our stay but just wanted to fyi so we would not get blamed. House seemed clean but did notice lots of dust on the bunk beds. We also had found millapeads in 2 showers. Overall we had a great experience and will book with VRBO again. »
