« Lors de la réservation j’avais demandé 2 lits simples, j’ai finalement eu un lit double. Impossibilité de me changer de chambre car l’hôtel était complet, ce que je peux comprendre. Mais attendre 3 heures pour qu’on nous apporte un oreiller et une couette afin de dormir sur le canapé je trouve ça un peu limite. L’organisation est à revoir dans cet établissement! »

« La chambre était très spacieuse. Il y avait deux armoires pour ranger nos habits. Une belle salle de bain avec une douche moderne et une baignoire et un WC séparé. De plus il y avait un petit balcon à l'arrière de la chambre avec vue sur des arbres. Un canapé 2 places en simili cuir et de une place devant une table transparente pour boire l'apéro si on le veut devant la télé. Chambre vraiment au calme et pas un bruit le soir ni le matin. "A hotel stay is supposed to be a relaxing and restful experience, ideally a welcoming one. Here, I found the complete opposite. The reception, which used to be perfectly normal, has been replaced by an intrusive tablet-like computer system. There were many problems with check-in upon arrival, with the staff practically questioning my honesty. And be warned, the hotel doesn't accept cash either! Unbelievable. The next day, I wasn't on the list of guests allowed to have breakfast, despite having paid beforehand. The staff were unhelpful. A very unpleasant stay."

"Un séjour inoubliable au Van der Valk Selys à Liège Notre séjour à l’hôtel Van der Valk Selys a été un véritable enchantement du début à la fin. Dès l’arrivée, on ressent cette alliance rare entre raffinement, confort et une attention sincère portée aux hôtes. L’hôtel Les espaces sont superbes, mêlant charme historique et modernité avec une harmonie remarquable. La chambre offrait un cocon de calme et de douceur, impeccablement tenue, avec cette petite touche de luxe discret qui transforme un simple séjour en véritable parenthèse de bonheur. Le restaurant Un pur délice. Chaque plat était une découverte, parfaitement exécuté, généreux sans jamais perdre en finesse. Le service, à la fois professionnel et chaleureux, a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. Le personnel Un mot particulier pour l’ensemble du personnel, dont la gentillesse, la disponibilité et le sens du détail ont véritablement sublimé notre séjour. On sent une équipe engagée, souriante, et profondément soucieuse de faire vivre à chaque visiteur un moment d’exception. Leur bienveillance a été la touche finale qui fait toute la différence. En résumé Tout était un vrai bonheur. Un lieu où l’on se sent accueilli, choyé, et où chaque détail semble pensé pour offrir une expérience mémorable. Nous repartons avec le sourire… et l’envie d’y revenir très vite."

"L’hôtel est difficile à trouver et situé dans une zone sans intérêt, loin de tout. La climatisation était mal réglée. Il faisait froid dans la chambre. La chasse d’eau fuyait et le lavabo s’écoulait mal. J’ai payé un supplément pour mon chien mais il n’est pas admis dans la salle du petit déjeuner. Je ne l’ai su qu’en allant déjeuner. Pour le dîner , le service au restaurant était de mauvaise qualité : on a été obligés de demander qu’on nous apporte la carte La nourriture était médiocre . On est partis un jour plus tôt . Le séjour m’a coûté cher. Établissement à éviter à tout prix "
