Panoramic views surround this one-of-a-kind rental complete with outdoor Hot Tub, Pool Table, steam shower, jacuzzi tub, off-street parking, and plenty of space (both inside and out) for the whole family. No shortage of fun right outside your door, from world class golf at the Skyland resort, Slate River access, the "Deli Trail" bike/ski path to town, shopping, dining, movies and more in Historic Downtown Crested Butte, amazing events and free live music (all Summer long) at the Center for the Arts, horseback riding, tennis courts, SUP rentals, legendary mt. biking trails, snowshoeing, nordic skiing and fat biking Trails, hiking, wildflowers, all literally within 5 minutes of this unbelievable gem of a home. Free shuttle service to the base area and/or town a short walk away at the end of the street. Take in the breathtaking views of Whetstone Mountain and Paradise Divide from the spacious decks out back, or enjoy the iconic views of Mt. Crested Butte from the front porch and upper deck too. The main floor includes another full bedroom with a Queen size bed, twin-size pull-out/trundle bed, 42” smart TV, and a dedicated desk and office workspace, along with a full bath directly across the hall. The main floor opens into a sprawling great room with a fireplace, seating and couch space for the whole gang, dining room and perfectly appointed modern kitchen with everything you need to bring out your inner-chef. The sliding glass doors next to the dining table take you out to the oversized back deck, complete with postcard views, gas grill, and direct access to the "Deli Trail" Town Ranch Biking/Walking/Skiing trail. Up the stairs to the top floor, the full size stacking W/D sits in it’s own dedicated laundry closet, with bedroom 3 to the left. There is plenty of space to stretch out in this giant bedroom with King Size bed, 42” smart TV, closet, private full bath and private deck. The 4 bedrooms were perfect for our large group. We loved hanging out in the main living area or using the game room downstairs. The view from the main deck and kitchen windows was the perfect way to wake up each day and the steam shower in the main bedroom was a nice bonus after a long day of hiking. The location was close to the adorable town and also many amazing hikes. It is just off a main road so there is a bit of traffic noise but not too bad. The house is exactly as described/pictured on the VRBO website. The kitchen is very well equipped with quality appliances, cookware, dishes and utensils. To me, anyway, this stuff makes a difference. The beds were very comfortable and the bath towels were fluffy and good quality. Again, this stuff matters to me. The highlight was definitely the hot tub, particularly after a day of hiking (I recommend taking the Silver Queen lift to the top and hiking down for some gorgeous views). We also enjoyed a few sunsets from the hot tub when we weren’t gathered on the deck for sunset. Access to neighborhood fishing (catch and release) made our stay even more enjoyable so make sure to bring your fishing rods. The house has easy access to town. I was initially concerned about this since we usually stay up on Mt Crested Butte but it was super easy and convenient to downtown (3 min bus ride/15-20 walk on trail). If you don’t have a car, the bus drops you off in front of the grocery store. Sean was exceptionally responsive to our questions. Check-in/out was seamless. The home is located only one mile south of Crested Butte and is a short walk to the shuttle. The home has everything you need and a few extras including a hot tub and pool table.
