This rental house was as pictured. It was clean, it was lake adjacent, it housed my family adequately. There was nothing special about this unit that justified its cost. After fees were included--one of which was a very high cleaning fee that came in addition to cleaning tasks we were required to do--there was nothing about this cabin that justified how high the rental price was. What you see is (mostly) what you get. The main photo shows the lake, it doesn't show you that this house is set back more than a football field from the lake and it feels like you'd be trespassing to access any of the docks you can see. Otherwise, the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are all as pictured. They get the job done but there is nothing else here beyond what you see. And that's fine, it's perfectly fine, but for the price I, at least, expected more.

The house was perfect for our family of 6. Plenty of room in the 3 bedrooms, small but efficient kitchen and small and cozy living room area. We were a little disappointed that some items that have been a given in other rentals were missing: no hangers for our clothes, no iron or board, no hair dryer. The last 3 rentals we have been in have had complimentary coffee, but we did not have that here. My sister in law was in a home by the event venue and had a Keurig with pods. It's a nice touch.

Booked this home last minute for Thanksgiving. The host was very easy to work with for check in and out and answered any questions I had very quickly. The house was very clean and well maintained with modern farmhouse decor. All bedrooms were decent sized. You can easily walk down to the lake.
