"Clean, comfortable, friendly, and a great location. Karla was a fabulous host, her breakfast was so delicious with fresh Ecuadorian fruits, eggs and bread. The grounds are beautiful, lovely pool surrounded by lush local gardens and indigenous pottery. Our cottage was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and ample storage space. We had a fabulous 5 nights, thanks to Karla's hospitality, lovely weather and the Pacific Ocean just across the road. "

"I had a comfortable stay here. The A/C works well, and the Wi-Fi was sufficient for my needs. They have a pool and a bar (although I’m not sure how often the bar is open). You will have a key to your room, but to gain access to the compound you will need to ring the doorbell each time you come and go. My Spanish is limited, but I knew I had to pay cash upon arrival. Beachfront Penthouse w/ Private Rooftop, Jacuzzi & Pool – Crucita

10/10 Excellent
"Place is fantastic, just as described and the host is very helpful and rapid to fix the one or two minor issues we encountered, WiFi quit working and we ran out of propane in the jacuzzi tub, but he was there 100% within minutes to address said inconvenient, we had a great time and will totally go back next time I’m in town visiting, the only thing be prepared for no AC and it does get hot, but the property has plenty of air flow, but it would be a millions times better if it had AC"

This area is the heart of Corono's beachfront activity and offers direct access to the main beach. The Malecón itself is a pedestrian promenade lined with restaurants, cafes, and shops, making it very convenient for dining and leisure. It's the most developed part of Corono, ensuring easy access to amenities and ocean views.

Couples looking for a relaxing beach holiday will find this area perfect. Many hotels here offer rooms with balconies overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and the proximity to numerous seafood restaurants provides ample opportunities for romantic dinners. The gentle sound of the waves and the ease of strolling along the promenade create a peaceful setting.

For families, staying near the Malecón, especially closer to Calle 15, is also an excellent choice. This section often has direct beach access, which is ideal for children, and there are parks and open spaces nearby for them to play.
