"Captain's Cottage is super cute! The pictures really dont do it justice. We were a block from the beach. Snug Harbour and Noto's are a must for waterfront dining. Downtown had lots to offer as well and was walking distance to CC. We had to make a trip to Meijer...also very close...and was astonished at the cleanliness and upscale feel of this store. We had a great, although too short stay, at Captain's Cottage."

"Great stay over the Christmas holiday. The hotel was very clean and close to shopping and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had traveled all night and got in early and they allowed us to check in a little early. Will definitely stay here again while in the Fruitport/Muskegon area. "

"Overall the expierence was great. Nick checked us in. He was extremely friendly and energetic. The jacuzzi was great, it was hard to get into tho. The mini fridge in the room was the only real "complaint" even at its coldest setting it did not get or keep things very cold at all. Slightly cooler than room temperature, it was also wobbly. Overall a good expierence tho and i will be back! "

Came from Chicago for an early Christmas celebration with kids & grandkids… it was perfect. Would like to come back late spring with two well trained dogs that could hang out on large front porch. Possible?"

"Jack was more than accommodating and ensured that we had a nice quiet, quaint spot. The place was a little difficult to find but Jack got us in the right direction! It's a perfect place if you love nature and wanna far away from the noise of a city! "
